I demand him! | Well, I'm sure the NBA will let you guys get him. Don't worry. The Hornets are in a weird spot for me. Andre Drummond makes sense for them because it would allow New Orleans to amnesty Emeka Okafor and just go from there but taking a guy like Harrison Barnes, while I don't think he'll ever develop into a true superstar, could actually help them even more. It'd give Eric Gordon a legitimate number two option on the team and wing running mate. Yes, I know they have Trevor Ariza but I'm sure they can find a taker for him. Ideally, I think New Orleans needs to land Anthony Davis but even if they get Andre Drummond they're in good position to land another quality impact player. A duo of Andre Drummond and John Henson gives New Orleans a great defensive combination in the paint. Add in Trevor Ariza on the wing and Eric Gordon, when he's healthy at least, and the Hornets will have one of the top defenses next year. They might not win much but they'd be in good position to draft another high quality player in 2013. Just hope they can keep Gordon around that long. |
I like Drummond but I think Davis is a once in a generation type talent. If I'm the Hornets and you get the #2 pick, I'd give the Bobcats anything they wanted for the #1 pick. _________________

You called my bluff. I'd counter with Eric Gordon (If we get him extended) and #12 though. _________________

He'd take Harrison Barnes first and screw it all up. You know him. I know him. We all know him. It's something that he'd do. He's the worst executive I've seen. And I've personally seen a lot of bad executives. He's an idiot. Just another case where great players don't make great executives. I wish teams would learn. _________________

I'd trade #2 and #12 in a nano second for the first pick. I just have this feeling that Drummond is going to be a Kwame Brownesque lol pick in 4 years and I can't see Anthony Davis not being an all star. _________________

True. In that case. Eric Gordon and #12 for the #3 pick BEFORE the Bobcats take Harrison Barnes. Anthony Davis and Andre Drummond _________________

He has everything else. I think Connecticut has kinda ruined him this season. That entire team is a let down. _________________

I'll go as far as guaranteeing that the Hornets win the draft "lottery". Gotta make them an enticing buy for potential owners. _________________

Kemba Walker was the emotional leader of that team. Who do they have that is anywhere close to that? Also don't forget, that team was awful in the regular season. _________________
