Friday August 10 7:30 can't get here any sooner.
Things I would like to see.....
first team offense sustain a touchdown drive. Don't care if it takes a whole quarter. Offensive line dominating early is what needs to be done.
A lot of playing time for Myron Lewis, Michael Smith, Cody Grimm, Ahmad Black, and Underwood. I highlight these guys because they could be key as situational players for us.
Swarming defense. I want to see that speed coach S was talking about. Interested in seeing how far or away Goode and Tandy are from becoming featured players on this team.
NO PENALTIES. Penalties killed this team last year and it starts from the top coming down IMO.
Lastly, injury free football from both sides |

Lol we always get Dolphins every year..
what I want to see see:
-Freeman not making stupid decisions
-O-line living up to the Hype
-Defensive line not getting pushed 5 yards back every play
-Mark Barron
-Ronde Barber in his new spot
-Blount, can he prove that he is the starter, I would love to see him CATCH a ball(we know he can run)
-Martin
-New LB core....tackle and not overpersue

-Freeman being the player we know he can be
-McCoy and Clayborn anchoring the dline, taking the next step (hopefully GK stays healthy)
-Jackson, MW, Parker, Underwood, Stroughter to live up to the buzz they've made in camp. Being reliable targets
-Looking forward to see a complete RB in Martin
-Seeing Nicks/Zuttah/Joseph anchoring the middle
-Seeing Ronde/Barron play together
those are all things I'm pretty confident in. here are some things I'm interested to see in preseason and into the season
-If Blount can ever make an impact in the passing game
-What we have in Dotson
-Clark/Stocker duo
-seeing Foster and David (excited about both this year)
-who steps up at corner besides Talib (see how good Wright, see if Lewis can do anything, Gaitor/Tandy etc/)
-Black/Lewis have had better than expected camps reportedly, hopefully they show something (doubt it)
-Intrigued to see Ahmad Black! (great player, hopefully he overcomes his measurables)
-if Ed Gant can be a spark
-Dunsmore/M.Smith/Tandy/Gaitor/Goode all those type of guys
-Interested to see how Benn/Grimm roster spots turn out and how the DT situation plays out
most of all looking forward to Schiano bringing a disciplined and organized football team, and Sully hopefully providing some good playcalling! |

What I Want to see :
- offense first drive. NO 3 and out. Want to see aggressive play.
- no boneheaded penalties. I think the bucs averaged 10 a game last year. Them not beating themselves is a good start.
- tackling. Too many missed tackles last year. Want to see improvement especially in run defense.
Players to watch: offense:
- josh freeman
- Vincent Jackson
- Preston Parker
- tiquan underwood
- Jeremy true blood and zutah.
- Luke stocker.
Defense:
- Gerald McCoy
- George Johnson
- all lbs
- Myron Lewis
- safety play. |

Rookies finally playing some downs of football!
Since it's reported Martin getting more reps than Blount in practice, I've been excited to see how versatile he'll be in this offense.
Seeing the Lavonte David hype after earning that starting position.
Watching the Barron and Barber partnership develop at safety. _________________

People in this forum not getting overly excited/disappointed about anything.
It's the first pre-season game, everyone should be a bit rusty. If Freeman has a great drive, doesn't mean he will have a great year, and vice versa. _________________

I just want to see the basics. Tackling, no penalties, no turnovers, no dropped passes, etc.
You know, all those things we didn't do last year that any high school player should strive for. _________________

I'd be perfectly fine with passing on first down on every drive this season _________________

I know we got all this new exciting stuff happening all around the team...but to me watching Ronde Barber as a Safety is by far the most exciting thing...
and lets see if Madden is right(For the past few years, Barbers ratings were a lot higher as a Safety rather than a corner) _________________

I would just like the starters to see a decent amount of playing time this preseason, especially due to them being so young. They could use the reps. One quarter at least would be good in my opinion. Thats one thing Raheem Morris didnt do well last preseason. Our first team never saw the field last preseason it seemed.
There will be a lot of exciting things about this preseason for us. Tons of battles from top to bottom of the depth chart.
- Honestly, I think Barbers transition to Safety will be a bit harder then expected so I would like to see how he does.
- Do McCoy and Clayborn dominate, especially after practicing against such a good OL all camp?
- Is Lavonte David going to live up to all the hype/positive camp talk?
- Freeman to Jackson and does Williams look good in game competition?
- Is Underwood a practice player or a reliable backup WR?
- Do we really have a dominate OL and does Doug Martin shine? _________________
