Just to note, in this GM Mock Draft there was no free agency and all teams automatically resigned their free agents to be. For some reason we were allowed to trade those players as well, but I stayed away from that cause it just didn't seem right Confused . Let me know what you guys think

Looks damn good. I would be really happy with this. Great improvement in our wr core. Martin in the second is a great replacement for gore, I just don't know about grabbing a RB in 2. But he is the second best best IMO, so good value and I'll go with it. Some depth at d line. Addressed our guard issue with a 4th with great value. I like letting go both haralson and Dixon, getting a fourth would be pretty awesome. Then turning that pick into a solid olb in Lindsey. I like.
In the later rounds grab some secondary guys and special teams players. Perfect. The safety from San Jose he should be there. Would scream if wr got streeter in the third staying put. When April rolls around I think he goes mid second though.
Great job. I like a lot. I'll give it a 9/10 A/A-

I like Alex Boone, but this is a conservative FO and I don't see them making the switch from AD, to RG and Boone to RT unless it's a depth problem. Davis did not have a bad year, granted he still has yet to play up to his spot, but he's far from the worst RT in the league. I would rather you have us draft a RT in the second then draft a RB too. Gore will probably be around for another two years getting the majority of the carries, so I think it's a high pick on a position we already have good depth at.

I would rather have a large receiver, but apparently Kendall Wright is an absolute beast and almost every scouting report I've read on him has been glowing. I reckon if he was two-three inches taller he'd be a top ten pick.

Either way we need a guy who can move the chains and get down field, he does both so I'm al for it.

I also doubt we see Philly do that trade, with Djax leaving, they're going to need all the depth they can have.

I'd give your draft a B, I don't agree with RB and holding off on guard until the 4th, but I like every player you picked.

I would be a very happy camper if this happens.

Like it as well. Applause Streeter's stock seems high in this forum and I do like the potential but given the limitations imposed on you with the FA signing rules, I would have gone CB instead of more WR depth there for what it's worth. Curtis Holcomb is receiver fodder IMO. All that said for a shout out for one of my favorite small school guys this year, Trumaine Johnson (the other being Osemele a little earlier)... Did something stupid recently to drop his status but really excited about this kid's potential.

Only complaint I have is that Brooks is on the trade block when there's literally no OLB depth. But really, it looks like a very good draft. I like Wright, and I like Streeter in the third. I also love the Steve Smith trade.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the feedback, especially since it's positive! Razz

As for my explanation with RB Doug Martin in the 2nd, I think he is going to be a beast. Honestly watch some video on the kid and you'll see that he is the most complete back in this draft and would be in most drafts. I think he'll be a better version of Ray Rice and will start to take over for Gore in the 2013 season. Also I'd like to add that while it's not a position of need, I believe in the theory that if you have the chance to grab a player you think will be elite, you take him. You can never have to many stars.

And Brooks is actually off of the trade block now, I need to fix that. He was only on it at first and I actually received a 2nd round pick offer for him, but decided to pass on it because I had to include 5th and I didn't like losing a key player in position with no depth. But it was either him or Haralson that would be moved and as you can tell I was more aggressive in getting rid of Haralson

The guy I was thinking about taking in the 4th but passed on cause I liked Kelemete's value and we really needed Oline help then, the same guy I was gonna take in the 5th but couldn't pass up on the value in Guyton is somehow still available and I'm praying he last the next 12 picks to us in the 6th. If I land this FS our draft will be amazing!!! Plus my sleeper CB is still available, I'm trying to trade WR Kyle Williams for a 6th and land both of them.....man I'd sh** myself Laughing

Updated**

And I'm also hoping to get a little feedback on what you guys think here because there is still some amazing talent left and I'm actually thinking I made the wrong pick in Jackson because OT/OG James Brown, Troy is still available. Other players I'm targeting for the 7th (and trying to trade a player to add another pick for) are;

CB Omar Bolden, Arizona State
OLB Kyle Wilber, Wake Forest
SS Matt Daniels, Duke
OLB Adrian Robinson, Temple
MLB Shawn Loiseau, Merrimack
WR Devon Wylie, Fresno State (already addressed enough, would hope to land as a UDFA most likely)

*In that order

What do you guys think about the pick I made at 6 and who do you think I should try targeting in the 7th?

I'm also trying to move WR Kyle Williams, CB Shawntae Spencer, OL Adam Snyder, and FB Moran Norris for picks.....most likely will cut/non-tender all

I like your selections here.

- you know you have 7 wideouts and none can be placed on a practice squad? (except Streeter, but that would be crazy)

- don't like not seeing Spillman among the safeties

- looks like you need a 4th rush LB to me... I personally like Jacquies Smith or Julian Miller for you at this point.

- and if u can afford it? Keep Spencer.... it's awesome to have 4 strong CBs these days.

I like it. I like the pick too. He has huge potential and can replace dashon if he can get his act together.
Checked the thread and still can't believe brown is available. And turbin just got picked in the seventh! Crazy. Hopefully you can make a trade for some more picks Too.

Fixed Wink , can't believe I forgot to put him on there and that saves me from needing another.

As far as 7 WR's I'm thinking either Joshua Morgan won't get resigned or Kyle Williams will get the ax......not sure which to do just yet.

And for a rush LB, what's your opinion on Kyle Wilber?

Yeah it's been crazy with some of the people that have lasted this long, if Brown is there for my next pick I think I will have to take him. He could play at either RG or RT for us and has huge upside. Our Oline could be looking good with him and Kelemete added

Remember him making some noise in the Shrine practices... was said to struggle getting off his blocks. From what I have been reading, he's a good choice that late in the draft. I'd be full of BS if I sat here and said he was someone I watched enough of to really say. So that said, he's really impressed me every week, and I watched all of his WF games!
