That rape scene was too much.  I had to ffwd thru it.  It would have been better if it cut when the door slammed after he handcuffed her.  Then when she returns and shows him the videotape of the rape, you see her tied up naked with him on top of her.

Martin not shutting the door behind them in the torture chamber was pretty unblievable too. I can understand him being arrogant but with Lisbeth unaccounted for it was far-fetched.
Imagine trying to film that scene or take part in the acting as well...

Seriously. I read online that the day after shooting that scene, the actor locked himself in his hotel room and cried for 24 hrs. It said most of her bruises seen in the shower were real. Shocked

That's friggin' insane. If I was the actor that had to do that, I would lose my ish after the first take. Confused

Never Let Me Go

From the writer of 28 Days Later and Sunshine and starring Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, and Andrew Garfield about 3 friends who grow up together at a boarding house. I didn't know anything about this film so the sci-fi twist was an interesting surprise.

That's an amazing movie. Criminally underrated.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Andrew Garfield is one of my favorite young actors and he didn't disappoint. His scream near the end is amazing

So I don't think I'll have time to host the Make A Movie draft this go around after all...

If someone else would like to take the helm, please do.

Went and saw Hunger Games today, it was pretty, meh.

Also just finished Goon. Absolutely hilarious. Sean William-Scott is awesome.

Agree on both, Goon was really dumb, but in the best way possible.

Man, I forgot how awful the Spawn movie is. John Leguizamo nailed his role but other than that its's a disastrous trainwreck. Melinda Clarke was the actress who played Jessica Priest? LoL. McFarlane picked the wrong team to shepherd his baby.

Happythankyoumoreplease

Not a fan of Ted Moseby the character but I'm curious to see what Josh Radnor's writer/directorial debut is like. Kate Mara's casting is a good start.

Let Me In

Dope flick. Whoever did the make-up for the acid burns in this should've done so for TDK instead of them using that awful CGI for Two-Face.

Beginners

Awesome indie-flick that I had never heard of until 10 minutes before I watched it. I found it very moving, and to think it may have just passed me by if I had not stumbled upon a random discussion thread.

Contagion was okay and I thought Carnage was hilarious. Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly stole the show. Just the way Waltz character carried himself was hilarious. It's rather short but it was definitely worth the 75 minutes.

Gladiator

Maximus Decimus Meridius is such a B.A. character.
