Do you think Garay will get an offer from the Chargers? Is he still any good?

According to Acee or Gehlkin (forget which one) on twitter, all of Garay, Castillo and Hester have an offer from the Chargers to come back. It seems their taking their time to make their decision however.

The four-year, $8.4 million contract signed by Panthers FB Mike Tolbert was lower than the Chargers' offer.
This signing is perhaps the most bizarre of the past week. Tolbert is from the area and starred at Coastal Carolina, but he's taking a hit in offensive playing time and salary to return home in his football prime.

I wonder what made him decide to take less money, less playing time, and return to a FB position? Seriously, how mad do you have to be at the team for things to go down that way?

Drew, you should know this having lived out here and now living somewhere else. Cost of Living probably had a pretty significant factor in this. I remember reading that even taking less money from the Panthers in terms of total contract value he'd end up pocketing more money long-term and being able to do more with that money because the COL and state taxes in North Carolina were significantly more favorable than those in California.
