I can just picture this in my head... Coughlin vs. the machine
Quote: | "Two weeks ago I'm trying to get to a roller hockey game that my grandson is playing in, so Marc Ross [the Giants' director of college scouting] had showed me how to talk to this phone," Coughlin said. "I don't trust the lady in GPS, I don't trust her, because they don't send you the right way. I hit the button and I go 'Park Ridge, New Jersey.' And she comes back on, she's giving me directions. So now I figure out where I am. I hit the thing and I said 'Thank you very much, I know exactly where I am now.' And she comes back and says, 'You don't have to thank me.' I swear to God that's what she said. And then I couldn't get her to shut up. Every turn. 'Take a right here.' I know where I am. I know where I am. I'm a block away from my house and she's telling me where to go. I said 'I know where I'm going.'" |

This is the best thing that will come out of the NFL this year. No matter what else happens, this is it. _________________

I chose to stay out of those debates because I didn't feel like it was worth the time. I'd debate Eli versus Romo. Eli versus Schaub was always laughable to me. Poetic justice that he won a Superbowl and carried the Giants the whole way there less than a year later. Guys like Texans_UK, Grachuus and pierrepet seemed to always be on the anti-Eli side during those days. _________________

Had a layover in Seattle on the way to Portland this past weekend. I need to live there. I really only got an aerial view from the plane, but damn it's the greenest city I've ever seen. Much much nicer than Philly. Am I right GmenSeattle? _________________

Anyone interested in getting together on a Skype group convo to talk draft stuff on at least Thursday and Friday? Just a thought. _________________

I really need to stop playing fantasy baseball. Every year I get killed with injuries. This year the first 2 guys ruled out for the year since the start of the season are both mine. SMH. |
