I'm disappointed in the defense even though they were without a few of their starters. So many long completions. The #1 pass defense was humiliated by Tim Tebow. |
Lets face it....we were never really the best pass defense.
Improved...yes....but the stats lied. We werent THAT good.
Taylor had a good year....he choked today.
And LeBeau underestimated what the Broncos could/would do. He deserves blame as well.
Today IMO all but sealed Farrior's and Ward's fate. Both looked slow and old, and are overpaid. Farrior is now a liability on this defense.
The only defensive player that I was happy with today really was Cam Heyward. Had a few issues early, but was really warming up. He has a bright future
Broncos deserved to win that game IMO. Even if we game back, they outplayed us. |
Agreed!! Great post! Now, we just don't have to trade as much to get who every Steelers fans want: Decastro! |

Before ceejay, among others, jump in:
I appreciate the class some of you (BigBen7MVP being an example) showed in the NFL Gen GDT. It was a tough loss, and, although I'd be lying through my teeth if I were to claim that I genuinely feel bad, you guys are still a first-class organization and I, as always, look forward to the two bloodbaths between us next year. _________________

Hey guys, awesome game. Even with the injuries you guys played so hard and are probably the better team. You'll be back as you always are. Good luck in the future! _________________

A solid analogy, for sure. This game reminded me a lot of that wildcard matchup last year. _________________

I just looked back a couple of pages ago and found him. Just know that not all Ravens fans are like that. _________________

Tough game today. Though i'm not necessarily a big steelers fan for obvious reason, i have a lot of respect for your organization and like watching you guys play. Too bad you guys were banged up and underperformed today but it happens.
We'll see you again next year at some point i'm sure, |

True...but LeBeau deserves blame too. He didnt take Tebow's passing ability seriously. That was evident. _________________

I've felt this teams cbs have needed addressed for years now, hopefully in round 1 or 2 they go cb and also take a safety to some point to develop _________________

way to put it softly.
No one had a clue what was going on. I couldn't tell you how many times James Harrison was like "WTF, where is he?" when Tebow ran the ball. Our Oline got blown up on multiple occasions. We failed.
Great win Bronco Fans. "Swagbow" is the real deal. _________________

We are rarely in position to ever get an impact CB. Thats been the issue.
I would give anything to go back and trade up for Revis. ONE PICK AWAY. I like Timmons but he is much more replaceable and Revis would make this defense crazy.
This year....we could possibly get Janoris Jenkins, who IMO has elite upside. I think he is the only impact CB we MAY have a shot at. _________________
