| The thing that worries me about the Steelers is that we have a way of playin "down to our competiton". Thats all I have to say about this game. We have to remember what Seattle did to New Orleans last year at Seattle. Just keep that in mind. |

| @broncosfan7 I don't take any game for granted when it comes to the NFL. I seen too many times when a team thinks it can just walk into someones stadium and play like the game is won already, and lose. New Orleans-Seattle playoff game comes to mind. |

If all of our linebackers are finally healthy we should be in good enough shape to pull this out no matter what the scenario. Woodley should finally be healthy. A point to always remember is that a hamstring injury is not to be rushed it is generally a 5-6 week injury if serious. Wood and the Steelers tried to rush it back in 3, reinjured trid to come back in 2 tweaked again. It should be ready but gotta stretch it real good and even more later. I'd stretch it again after the first series, keep it warm and loose and then again at halftime. _________________

Steelers signed RB Chad Spann from their practice squad.
| Quote: | | Undrafted out of Northern Illinois, Spann spent time with the Colts and Bucs before landing on the Steelers' practice squad. His promotion doesn't bode well for Mewelde Moore's (knee) availability at Denver. Spann will be third on the depth chart behind Isaac Redman and John Clay. |

| I youtube this Chad Spann. He did look good at N Illinois, but that was college, this is Pro Ball. If you have the talent though it doesn't matter where you play at. |

If the Steelers come out throwing and put some points up on Denver early, this may end up looking like the St. Louis game.
The pressure is on for Starks and Gilbert though, who must stop Dumervil and Von Miller. That may be the key matchup of the game, IMO. _________________

Just a thought. With Ryan Clark not being able to play and if Mundy struggles would we use McFadden as a fill in at FS? _________________

I believe Tomlin said Will Allen would start then. Not a bad idea though. I honestly think Mundy can handle that role though and don't think he is a huge drop off from Clark, besides the leadership Clark brings. |

| With Pouncey now officially out, one big concern is Kemo likely starting at LG and doing something really foolish. Legs should do fine at center. Since Ben is also not as mobile as usual, hopefully Arians has a plethora of quck short pass plays up his sleeves. |

Another concern I have is if Legursky, who is coming off an injury, reaggravates it and they are forced to put Essex in there at center. That's a scary thought as well especially with the condition that Roethlisberger is in. _________________

| Quote: | We’ve reported — and we stand by those reports despite denials from the man at the center of the action — that Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn has received roughly half the reps with the first-team offense in practice this week. It previously wasn’t known why Quinn received the extra reps.
Now, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that the Broncos have installed specific packages for Quinn premised on second-and-long and third-and-long situations.
Whether and to what extent Quinn actually plays remains unknown. But despite anything said by Quinn or reported elsewhere, the Broncos are getting Quinn ready for something. |
