Sounds about right. That is where I thought he should have been drafted in the first place. _________________

Seriously, AAA was right. The Jets have a serious inferiority complex. Can you imagine Rex barking slurs and bad language at Tebow? I feel kinda bad for him. _________________

@MikeKlis
Broncos get a 4th and a 6th round pick in exchange for Tebow and a 7th. Broncos now have 7 picks _ 1, 2, 3, 4th (two), 5, 6
Nice, a little better even _________________

Well I think all of us would have hoped for more than a 4th round pick but it's good to be able to move on.
I feel bad for Tebow though having to go to the circus that is the New York Jets. _________________ big_palooka:

I'm disappointed.
The way I see it:
Rounds 1 to 3 are for starters. Maybe some thirds won't be ready to start day one but you need to find starters with these picks consistenly so that every draft class adds at least three players to your starting roster down the line.
Rounds 4 and 5 are for backups. Obviously you might find a gem but generally speaking guys down here are expected to be good quality backups and rotational players down the line.
Rounds 6 and 7 are for players who can contribute on special teams and roster bubble guys.
So in effect we traded a young backup QB with an awful lot of potential for a quality backup at another position. Poor move in my opinion.
As for Tebow, I'll continue to follow his career closely in NY and he will always be one of my favourite players in the league. I think Sanchez is definitely a better QB right now, but of they coach Tebow properly I honestly believe he has a far higher ceiling down the line. _________________

That was fast... and a 4th too....
Sweet. Probably fair value. JMD reached with his 1st..
Best of luck to him and hope he fairs well in life.

Jets love big names. Fact.
He'll be good under Sparano, and the Jets dont mind circus atmospheres. Santonio Holmes may wanna go back on a few things hes said in the last 24 hours. _________________

| This is great news. I was expecting less. Denver got the maximum value IMO. |

It was a move that had to be done. I love Tebow to. HOwever, it was right for Denver and for Tebow. I feel bad for him that he has to go to the sideshow of the Jets. But it is what it is. I can see Sparano falling in love with him. I can see him beating Sanchez for the job before the season ends. _________________

Worst case scenario for Tebow. I feel really, really bad for him. I hope he proves me wrong and can go on to have a semi-successful career, but I don't see it happening with the cureents Jets team/coaching staff. _________________

Feel bad for Tim. The [inappropriate/removed] that is Elway screwed him, and his opportunity to succeed in the NFL. He never wanted Tim and he got his wish. If Tebow succeeds in this League and Peyton bombs, that's all on you John.
I feel bad that my organization would do something like this to the classiest pro athlete of my generation.
That said Tim cannot have asked for a better situation. He will get to compete to be a starter, have a great defense and run game, and I believe a coach in Rex Ryan that will finally support him. _________________

I guess it's Tebow + a 7th rounder to the Jets for a 4th + 6th round pick... I'm just glad the circus is gone. I wish nothing but the best for Tim, but i'm glad the biggest distraction in the NFL is finally moving on.
The Jets is the absolute worst place for him however... Combine stupid New Yorker's and the media and it's a recipe for disaster.

So the value is actually a high 4th round pick (including their 6th and minus our 7th). I don't think we could have asked for much more than that.
Sucks to see Tim go, but it had to happen sometime. _________________
