Last meeting was in 2009 with the chiefs winning 27-24. Steelers hold the all-time series lead 17-10. On a side note, this game will be the 11th of the last 12 games against Kansas City played at Arrowhead dating back to October 1992.

After watching the KC vs NE game it looks like Palko can hit his receivers if you give him a pocket. Once he gets pressured or hurried he forces the ball.
The KC defense looked good for a quarter. They got wore down by the offenses TO's later in the game
Wallace may get a couple shots at long catches. Their coverage can be burnt.
Hopeing for a Steeler blowout. _________________ He looked me right in the eye direct and concise to remind me to always do whats right. |

Hopefully Ben can make those throws with the injury. I look for Brown and Miller to have solid games, and hopefully Mendy can get it going. Defense should be able to give Palko fits, and take the crowd out of the game early.

Jim Wexell reports that Doug Legursky will start at LG in KC in place of Chris Kemoeatu.
Sounds like good news to me. |

I'm not a "Ke-mo -eat-u" fan at all. So I'm down with it. _________________

Legursky to replace Kemoeatu at LG vs. Chiefs. Kemo's take: "They made a switch for this game. They're going a different route this week. They told me I don't look healthy out there, bad tape." kemo said his knee's fine, he feels good. I gotta play better. There's definitely room for improvement."
Could it also be that Big Ben will be out of shotgun a lot, and Legursky is the better pass blocker than Kemoeatu? I think this can add motivation for Kemoeatu and maybe he'll cut down on the stupid penalties!

In the beginning of the year was it Legursky at LG and Foster at RG or the other way around? I thought that combination at the beginning of the season was the best. |

IIRC Kemo started at LG and Legs was the RG at the beginning of the season. _________________

I agree. Kemo is the one guy I hope we replace. Either by FA or in the draft.
By IMO the weak link on our O-line. _________________

Right. What I mean is when Foster and Legursky were the 2 guards earlier on in the year, which was RG and which was LG? I was thinking Foster was LG and Legursky was RG. I thought that was the best guard play though so far this year, if I recall. |

Kyle Orton claimed by a team before the Bears. If it is the Chiefs, does anyone think he could start Sunday?
Edit: The Chiefs did sign Orton. |

I like it. Could light a fire under Kemo. If he could keep his stuff together and focus, he could be a good player. We have all seen Kemo's flashes where he looks good, then its consistently followed by boneheaded mistakes. However im not sure Kemo has the mental capacity to focus, but if he does he could be a quality football player.
Anyway lets hope Legs can get in there and play well. |
