I keep reading that Denver is shopping Trevor Pryce.

Now I'm thinking, why don't the Vikings make an offer for him? There's no way anyone will give Denver a 1st rounder for him, and because Denver has tipped their hand, it's possible he may go as cheap as a 2nd or even a 3rd because he was injured last year.

Maybe a package that includes picks and Michael Bennett??? (Denver's not resigning Droughns and Q. Griffith stinks). Also possible a package could include a swap of our #18 pick with their #25??? (then we grab Brodney Pool to replace Brian Russell)

Pryce is a bit spendy and coming off an injury, but, a front four of Pat Williams, Udeze and Kevin Williams rotating with Trevor Pryce between Left End and DT would go a long way to covering up some of our deficiencies at LB and in the secondary...

Mixon is actually solid vs. the run, and Johnstone is a sack artist. They expect Udeze to pick it up sack and runD wise. Pryce is too pricey given he's coming off an injury.

I think the Vikes are looking to shore up other positions now that Pat Williams signed.

Pryce is a punk. The Broncos are shopping him for the same reason the Vikes put Moss on the block. Keep him out of MN.
