NFL.com reports that he will be visiting New York on monday...vikings fans start praying now that we can pull another player from signing with a new york team at the last minute...

I would highly doubt it, if we sign Burress....We had a chance for like 5 days to sign him...so it leads me to believe that the Vikings think that they are gonig to be alright on defense and draft Mike Williams with the 7th or edwards if either are left. and plus were trying to get Rod Garder from Washington....the only guy i would be happy if we got other then burress is Boldin...other then that were screwed. I just would pray that the deal for selling the team goes through first...then if anybody is left we might be able to sign someone good.
We have to fill like 5 different positions and we still have only made 1 deal.

I know what you mean. I don't know why we're not going after the people we need, NOW, instead of waiting. I thought Plax was visiting Minny this weekend, but who knows. I wish the sale could go through sooner then it can, that way Fowler would be able to spend some money. If he's another McCombs, I'll shoot him dead.......

fowler bought a house with a garage and then mccombs flattined the garage in favor of a car port (just not the same)
