I don't want to us draft another rookie LB right now we have had enough rookie LB's we nedd vet help now
I don't want to see us draft a WR with the 7th either
edwards can't catch the easy balls and williams can't go fast and deep
both are excellent players but we ca pick up a good WR later in the draft
mark clayton and chris henry will be there
S and CB are the primary needs at this point
thomas davis , brodey pool , ernest shazor
marlin jackson , carlos rogers ---
trade down aquire additional picks , there is alot of talent in the later rounds as well |

Right on!
Use #7 and grab Antrel Rolle or Pac Man--one or both will probably be available.
Use #18 and take Thomas Davis (he could slip...) or grab Brodney Pool. May be able to trade down in the first round and still get Pool. If not, I'd still draft Pool at #18 since I think the worst starter for the Vikings last year was FS Brian Russell. Drafting Pool at SS and moving Chavous to FS dramatically improves our secondary. (even if the so-called pundits think #18 is too high for Pool to go...) |
