I wonder if we might take a look at Chavas Rawlins? He is leaving WVU and would retain all his eligibility where ever he goes. We were recruiting him, as well as Cincy, when he was coming out of HS so there is history. Plus the fact he would be an ideal fit for the offense CBJ wants to run.

We also have a coach that was on staff at WVU last year.

Idk I think he goes elsewhere

Posted this in the recruiting thread:

The Vols added another '13 recruit (late qualifier) in 2/3* DE NC Kendall Vickers. He was committed to USCe early on in the process and [inappropriate/removed] down his recruitment, but they recently told him he would have to go to JUCO (not sure why as he qualified). Not a big name, but I like that he was a USCe commit and held other offers from UNC and ECU.

His teammate is '14 4* NC RB Derrell Scott. Hopefully this open his eyes to the Vols

This is the second late qualifier we added and we also had 2-3 guys we wanted that didn't qualify. Not the way to run your team consustently, but bUTch wants "his" guys.

In case anyone was wondering that JUCO WR we added (Johnathon Johnson) is enrolled in summer school. Speaking of which, it looks like pretty much our entire class will make it in except Jabo Lee.

There was concerns he might not qualify but he found out late he could and South Carolina didn't have any scholarships to sign him too.

Jabo still might.

Also Ryan Jenkins won't be there for a while (no concerns on getting in though). It sucks as he is one of the higher rated recruits that could compete at a wide open position for a spot as a Fr.

Just glad North is in right now, he is probably our biggest recruit.

Most definitely. Our WRs were awful in the O&W game, so I would expect to see North start/rotate heavily and possibly something similar with Johnson depending on how he looks...

I'm still trying not to get excited about the upcoming seasons. Just as soon as Butch starts getting us turned around, our prolific OL will all be gone.

I'm hoping Tiny doesn't declare for the draft after this season Pray

I was thinking the same thing with James this year but he didn't. Maybe Tiny wants to see this thing through Laughing

No reason to think this far ahead. We have a full season coming up that anything could happen.

The difference is Tiny would be a top 15-20 lock and James, even as the second RT this year (Fluker), would likely have been a 2nd round pick. LT's value>RT's value
