If you could get one player, who you reasonably think we could draft. Who is your choice.
I feel we need a defensive playmaker. Morris Claibourne is the pick. He is a player you cannot find in free agency. Other pieces we can find later in the draft i.e Guard help, LB depth. _________________

To be honest its so early in the college football season its really hard to call a name unless its Luck...lol But most player seem to make their name during conference title games & bowl games. _________________

I really like Morris Claiborne. Was high on Alshon Jefferey but he would be a luxury pick with the way LaFell is improving. Unfortunately no DT will be worthy of a top 10-15 pick so Claiborne would be a good choice. _________________

I'm not up to speed on all the college prospects at this early stage, but I like Claiborne and Jerel Worthy, the DT from Michigan St.
I think we can leave WR until later in the draft, but we should keep an open mind just in case a plum option falls to us.
CB and DT are among our biggest needs in my opinion. _________________

As much as I would like to get a top flight DT, there's just not one in this draft. Not to mention, we have a lot invested in the DTs we picked up this year.
I think it comes down to CB or WR in terms of actual value of where I think we will be picking (6-10). Ultimately I think it comes down to Claiborne, Kirkpatrick, or Floyd with our pick. Jeffery and Blackmon will go top 5.
In the end, I believe Floyd will be our pick. I think we might have something with Darius Butler in the 2 spot, with Captain playing the nickel and I would be willing to give that a chance next year with a returning Beason, which will help the coverage units. _________________

Dre Kirkpatrick. The top rated corner, and a guy who actually has size, something that we lack outside of Gamble. _________________

I would say a top receiver would be nice, but with how Cam is playing with what we have, I can't say that's what would give us the biggest improvement.
I hear Zack Brown from Carolina will be a top ranked weakside linebacker. Could be what we need with Thomas Davis potentially done. He's got 4.4 speed. _________________ http://sporting-ego.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Egocam.gif |

Zach Brown is an absolutely beast.
That said Jefferys, Blackmon, Claiborne would be my top choice. _________________

Carolina will be picking around 7th-13th with a 5-11 or 6-10 record.
Hands down should nab whichever is left between Alshon Jeffrey or Justin Blackmon. The 2 are better than Gettis, Lafell, Edwards and Pilares period.
If they miss out on those then BPA on defense |

Will the Panthers get any compensatory picks? For Marshall maybe, btw how is he doing?
Assuming we are picking in 5 - 10 slot, who is the most likely guy that someone would trade up for? Who is the 3rd best QB, where is he projected? |

If Blackmon and Jeffry are off the board honestly I'd rather trade down. _________________

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I can see someone trading up for Barkley or Jones. _________________
