The Gunners are also ready to step up their interest in Brazil's 19-year-old midfielder Casemiro as his club Sao Paulo are reportedly ready to cash in with a £10m deal. Source: TalkSport
Anyone of you guys that follow the Brazilian league rate him? _________________

People in Brazil are rubbing it in Neymar's face that he lost to Messi and Barcelona.
| Quote: | Santos forward Neymar admitted that it was an honour to play alongside Brazil legend Zico in a game organised by the 58-year-old and insisted that he was untroubled by chants of 'Messi' from the stands when he touched the ball.
The 19-year-old participated in Zico's annual 'Game of the Stars' charity match on Wednesday evening, this year dedicated to the legend's former Selecao team-mate Socrates who passed away in December.
The 'Friends of Zico', featuring Rai, Neymar, Ronaldo, Zetti and the organiser himself amongst others, defeated the 'Stars of Brazil' 7-5 in the match, held in Sao Paulo's Estadio Morumbi.
Neymar was taunted by fans when receiving the ball and reminded of his defeat to the Argentine and his Barcelona outfit in the Club World Cup final. He scored in the game to silence the spectators, however, and afterwards declared he was indifferent to the chants.
"The goal was for the fans who came to pay their respects. [The Messi chants] did not bother me, no," the youngster told reporters at the final whistle.
"It is sad to find out that some people are not on our side, because here we are the Brazilian team. But it is natural, it is a nice rivalry in Brazilian football."
Earlier, Neymar had spoken about sharing the field with Zico, a moment he praised as something extraordinary.
"It is special to play alongside Zico, it will be the first time and I hope that I can score from one of his passes," he stated. |

Get used to it, kid.
Though, in a perfect world, the only one who would have to answer to these stupid comparisons is Pelé and his gigantic mouth. |

I really don't see why anyone takes anything Pele says seriously.
He just says things to hype up the media. He actually knows very little about football, he is just a popular face for FIFA. _________________

| Most laymen believe Pele is the greatest player ever. His opinion carries weight, as ridiculous as it may be. |

Neymar is an idiot who stayed with Santos so he could have his [inappropriate/removed] handed to him by Barcelona.
And now he gets ridiculed by fans after certain media faces hyped him up to be the next Messi, and he was nowhere to be found in the game vs Barca. _________________

Copa Libertadores is on for anyone who might be interested. Boca is playing Zamora right now.
U. de Chile vs Atletico de Nacional looks like a really promising game, tarts in two hours. _________________

Can't wait for this game. UDC were a joy to watch last season, but have lost some key players, while I understand Atl Nacional have strengthened over the break.
Sucks that the Chilean clubs are a victim of their own success. In last season's Libertadores Univ Catolica were fantastic. Played football the right way, scored loads of goals, and were generally very good to watch. Just a year later and they're a complete shadow of that team. Hopefully U de Chile don't end up in the same boat, but now they've lost Vargas, it looks like they're heading that way. _________________

Hopefully U de Chile don't end up in the same boat, but now they've lost Vargas, it looks like they're heading that way. | U. Catolica lost their coach and some key players (Pratto, Gutierrez, Mirosevic, Botinelli, etc..) and now are stuck in an awful defensive system with a coach, which is an old legend but knows crap about tactics. La U also lost a couple of important players such as Vargas, Marcos Gonzalez, Canales, etc. but the coach and the philosophy is and will be the same one and they did brought some good players in too. In U. de Chile the system prevails the players and I feel they will have a nice term again, maybe not as extraordinary as past but a great one nonetheless (predicting winners of the league, or at least reaching the finals and finalist or semifinalist of Copa Libertadores).
Vargas might be gone, but I think that the players that made the system worked stayed. We may see a dump off in goals, but not in quality. _________________

I hope you're right, they were so exciting to watch last season, Vargas especially. I can't wait to see Ruidiaz in the system.
Did UC lose Gutierrez? I thought he was still there. I knew about Mirosevic and Botinelli going back to Flamengo, though. Sucks they have a defensive-minded coach now. _________________
