If I was on the team my morale wouldn't be shot with Palmer coming in and I'd be a lot happier with Palmer than with Boller at the helm. Palmer just needs to get in what days he can with the WRs and get with Coaches Jackson and Saunders to put together a skeletonized passing playbook, should get the job done for when we need to give the RBs a breather. (Speaking of RBs we need to get Taiwan the ball at least 3 times a game, let him get some experience... I don't recall seeing him much out of the backfield this season. )
Defensively, do the same thing we did last years final game... get after Cassel and force mistakes. Double up Bowe and make Cassel go to other targets. Can't take the run lightly guys, McCluster is one of those short shifty dudes we've had problems with in the recent past, gotta make the run #1 priority to stop.
If we had JC I'd give anyone 6 points, but with him out Palmer on condensed playbook (if he plays) this will be close...
RAIDERS - 23
CHIEFS - 17
(*Jano better be ready, we'll need him to perform top level the next two games.) |
idk if he'll have to be on top of his game vs Denver. Palmer will tear the ponies up. KC won't be easy though |

That's definitely Jay Richardson.
I think we win 24-13 with either QB starting. We can open the playbook up (relatively) with Boller but we have a better player at QB with Carson. Rushing offense and rushing defense make the difference here.
Here's to hoping QB doesn't jeopardize an otherwise opportunistic game for us this week. _________________

Cassel hates playing the Raiders, we beat him up every time. I also believe our front four loves playing this Chiefs team. They have their number.
I expect Carson to play (I doubt Hue brought him here to look at him), obviously he wont have the complete play book, but with McFadden and Bush to lean on he should be able to do enough to beat a chiefs team that hasnt been very good this season (though they have played better over the past two games).
Usually I hate seeing the Chiefs come to town because Charles scares the hell out of me, but with him and Jones out their run game shouldnt be a problem on paper. We still have to play with good discipline.
I think we get pressure on Cassel and shut down the running game. McFadden has a big day with a large role due to Palmer playing, and we win the football game.
I will never predict a blowout against the Chiefs we always seem to play each other close, even when one team is pretty poor. _________________

I was on my phone so the two pictures looked identical at first glance... _________________

I don't think it matters who starts at QB this week. I think it will be a run heavy game plan. This will allow for ball control and take the pressure off whoever lines up under center. I see a low scoring game with alot of FG's and the Raider's winning 19-13. _________________

Damn . . . . Bus just backed over Campbell, lol.
Glad the team is excited to have a QB of his caliber. Hopefully they gel quickly and make something special happen. _________________
