The Big Guys in the middle eating up blockers and making plays.

Sheard looked great against Long. Going up against Joe is helping him big time. Mitchel makes plays as well.

Thank You Heckert for this draft Taylor and Sheard. Cool

We are 1-2 LB's and 1 CB away from having a Stud defense.

By next year we should be there.

I'm starting to not think we need DE's Cool

All of our starters are pretty good. Sheard, Rubin (since when is he such a good pass rusher) and Taylor have all looked fantastic this season.

Didn't they say we have the most sacks in the AFC?
I know we have not played high-octane offenses but this is far superior to anything Browns fans have seen in years past.

Well our D-line can still be better. Getting another DT to rotate in to keep Rubin and Taylor fresh will only make them Better. And a pass rushing DE across from Sheard would help too. Jayme holds his own but I think his best fit is as a rotation player.

Move Djax to Will and bring in two more linebackers and get us a corner and we're good.

I wouldn't mind using a first rounder on another DE and making our D-line super elite.

I'm not against that but I think a beast at LB would be a bigger addition to our Defense.

If we go WR 1A
then BPA out of CB, DE or LB with 1B I will be very happy.

Yeah pretty much exactly what I want. Hopefully the Bucs hang on and beat the falcons.

Falcons are not looking good. Will be upset if they pull this one out. There season can go either way at this point. A loss here and they could be in trouble. A win and they are 2-1 after a tough start and looking good.

Sheard didn't go against Long, Mitchell did. Sheard still looked very good. Taylor is improving but not quite there. He gets moved at the point in the run game at times and doesn't have much of a pass rush atm. I'm excited to watch him improve and I see that hes motivated and hustles (Chasing Henne on the play he got the flag). Mitchell played as well as one could against Long. I was actually surprised. Rubin is just a flat out beast.

Bottom line. They will become very good very soon. Throw in a high pick at DE and we could be elite if Heckert hits at RDE.

Daryl Ruiter: Browns registered 5 sacks, their most since 8 against Pittsburgh on December 10, 2009. DL Ahtyba Rubin & Jayme Mitchell w/ 1.5 sacks today

I'm loving what this defense is becoming. With another draft to fix up the remaining holes, we could be really good defensively
