You know nothing. Aaron Murray is not a sec qb and he sucks on the road and he can't win without the run game.
Richt needs to be fired immediately, the only thing holding the team together is Grantham and the defense. |
Dawgsfan and you are right on different parts
Murray isn't an SEC quarterback, but he did win us the game today. The run game was largely ineffective.
The defense has been worse than advertised and I'm pretty sure Bacarri Rambo although listed as a starter, hasn't played a down this season. He's been invisible. Our main bright spot for the year tore his acl and is out now. |
Against sec teams last year, Murray had 19 tds to 10 picks. Against ranked teams he had 17 tds to 7 picks
Michael Bennett being referred to as our lone bright spot is simply ridiculous. |
TD:INT ratio doesn't tell the whole story on Murray, that's the thing.
And referring to Bennett, he's been the most consistent out of our players on both sides. Others were injured (Jones), Hit a wall (Gurshall), havent had enough time to make impact on both sides of the ball (Mitchell) Suspended (Ogletree, Rambo, others), Underachieved (LB'ers) or just are tgerrible against good competiton(Murray). _________________

Yea, when faced when facts of course they don't tell the whole story.
And by terrible play are you refering to one game where the whole team sucked. I'd like to give you more credit than that, you just make it hard to do. Marlon brown has been a better wr than Bennett, both rbs have been great, Murray's been great, branden smith has been outstanding etc, etc. |

That game was messed up from the start to the finish..
Glad we got the win and the defense stepped up big time..
Shawn Williams is a hero and Jarvis Jones is a beast.
13 tackles 5 for loss 3 sacks 2 forced fumbles 2 fumble recoveries |

When healthy, I have no doubts that Jarvis Jones is the best player in the nation. He should be the #1 pick next year. _________________

Pretty much, no QB stands out enough to be #1. _________________

The defense finally played o it's potential, now it puts us back in NC contention, even though Bama will probably kill us. _________________

So i got my tickets to the Ole' Miss game 2 weeks ago for like 90$ each.
I been thinking that if UGA lost to UF than i'd have paid too much, but if they won i'm getting a bargain!
bargain city baby!!
Jarvis Jones is going to get the lions share of the attention after this game (and he deserves it)
but how about the play of Bacarri Rambo! he looked like his old self! Gurley was huge and Murray came through when he needed to. gd teh score doesn't reflect the domination though bc of the INTs.
still very very proud to be a bulldog tonight! the 10 hr drive to Athens is gonna be a breeze _________________ Justo wrote: Hyperbole is three syllables. "Big words". Georgia edumacation just told y'all how to spell the smallerer words like d-a-w-g, huh?

we are going to move up to #6
1. bama
2. k state
3. oregon
4. notre dame
5. lsu
6. georgia
i think a case could be made for uga to be 5 and lsu 6 but TV will want the 1 v 5 matchup and that will influence the voters.
we need bama to stay undefeated until we beat them in ATL _________________ Justo wrote: Hyperbole is three syllables. "Big words". Georgia edumacation just told y'all how to spell the smallerer words like d-a-w-g, huh?

Weird thing is that if we want any shot at the NCG or an auto at large, we need to pull for USC to win out. That means PAC 12 championship=Oregon Twice and ND. K-State is probably the hardest one, because they can easily go undefeated. _________________

| Marlon brown is done for the year, and for his career for that matter. Feel really bad for him, finally showed he talent we all knew he had. I'd love to get him on the falcons next year |

Brown should be healthy for the draft, but it sucks about his career ending on that note. _________________

Was a very very good time at the game in Athens. Sucks about Marlon we all thought the guy def tried to twist his leg..-a few ole miss players did this
Murray was a beast ... The first quarter I thought I was going to witnessatrainwreck
The D really seems to b humming thanks to Williams.
Hadn't rung the chapel bell since 2005 so that was good fun
I see us winning out from here..bring on Bama _________________ Justo wrote: Hyperbole is three syllables. "Big words". Georgia edumacation just told y'all how to spell the smallerer words like d-a-w-g, huh?
