Footytube and Footyroom are usually the best tries. _________________

Villarreal plays Barcelona tomorrow who will not count with Puyol, Alves, Pique and Adriano.
It's our chance to win against Barcelona (we usually play good games against them), but we will probably lose again. _________________

Negredo's gonna score 30 goals this year. He won't be in Sevilla long I think. _________________

Negredo's gonna score 30 goals this year. He won't be in Sevilla long I think. | He scored 27 times in 46 matches last year. Taking out the CL and EL where he played 8 games and guessing he'll play all 38 games and Sevilla will reach the SF of Copa del Rey (like they did last year) he will play around 40 games. I don't think he reaches 30, tbh. _________________

Last year, he wasn't even a first choice striker until Fabiano left. He's gonna have a huge year. _________________

Someone said he won't stay at Sevilla long but I don't think one of the other big teams in Spain will buy him and I don't know if he would come to England. I think he'll be on Sevilla for at least a few more years. _________________

I don't think 668 minutes is going to mark a huge difference. _________________

Doesn't RM have a buy-back option? _________________

He's big enough that he could be successful in the EPL. There were Liverpool and Tottenham rumors this summer. I hope he stays at Sevilla though. Freddie aint getting any younger, and we need goalscorers. _________________

I think it expired. The option was only for the first two years of his five year deal with Sevilla. And this is year 3. _________________

And I think there will be interest from abroad but most Spanish players tend to want to stay in Spain rather than move abroad. He is in a good situation at Sevilla and I think he would be a bit foolish to ruin that. _________________

This is old news but I still find it very interesting, Danny Güiza signed with Getafe. He didn't have the greatest time in Turkey but before signing with Fenerbahçe he had great season with Mallorca and Getafe before that. If he can find the form that he had with Mallorca, Getafe got a heck of a player.
Also Barca and Villarreal play tomorrow and Barcelona will be missing Pique, Puyol, Adriano and Maxwell will be out because of injury. Dani Alves is also suspended for the game. It will be interesting to see how Guardiola copes with missing 3 fullbacks and his two starting center backs. Should be a good game tomorrow. _________________

It is changing even if it is a small bit, with Malaga and Getafe getting new wealthy owners in the past year or so.
| Quote: | Villarreal president Fernando Roig has called for changes to football in Spain so that it does not become a two-team show between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Roig's remarks come in the wake of his side being soundly beaten 5-0 at Barcelona and Real Madrid seeing off Zaragoza 6-0 in the first La Liga matchday.
The Villarreal supremo believes there is a huge gap between 'the Big Two' and the remaining clubs and noted that if nothing is done to solve this problem, La Liga can no longer survive.
"This is the league you want. I sell players to balance budgets but others ask for credit and get it," Roig said after the game.
"If you want the league to have only two matches, then there will only be two matches, but this is not good for football. I give it three to four years. Either this changes or we kill Spanish football.
"We had offers for [Giuseppe] Rossi and Nilmar, but their departures would have weakened the team. The economical differences lead to this."
Still, Roig stated that Barcelona deserved their Monday night win over his club, saying: "They played stupendously and we had a very bad match; one of the worst [ever]." |
