Like I said earlier, it'd have been nice to win it, but it's the Community Shield at the end of the day.

Song looked good out there though. That's good.

Hopefully the form carries over for Madrid.

I know Barcelona were down a man, but I was surprised that Song stuck to his defensive duties. He barley venture up at all. He was like a 5th defender.

Me too. Good to see he listened to what he was told to do.

Watching Higuain celebrate goals or trophies is a symbolism of old Madrid, reminds me of Juanito in a way. I enjoy that soooooo much.

Its a shame he isn't worked in to the starting 12 more often. Milan would kill for a player like him. Confused

He missed too many easy ones today, IMO.

Higuain is a TRUE MADRIDISTA!

He should of been more clinical, I agree having at least 4 clear cut chances, but he helped Madrid to win and that is what is important.

Crazy stuff is happening....

Quote:
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell is 'convinced' that his club will continue to participate in Spain's La Liga even if Catalunya becomes independent from the rest of the country.

Rosell has no doubt that Barcelona will continue playing in the Primera Division, likening the situation to Monaco in France.

"If Catalunya becomes independent, it would make no difference. We would keep on playing in the Spanish league just like Monaco in France continues to play in Ligue, despite being a separate state. I am convinced of this," Rosell was quoted by Sport.

The president also went on to assure that his club's rivalry with Real Madrid would remain intact, in any event.

"Even in the situation of an independent Catalunya, we would continue to play Real Madrid, just like always."

Barcelona will remain in La Liga even if Catalunya becomes independent, says Rosell

Malaga start of the season deserves an applause, after having to sell some players, being sued by players and other teams, almost out of the UCL and could have lost the category, etc... They have 10 out of 12 points and are currently leading La Liga.

I think I like watching this team a little bit more without Messi. We focus too much on getting him the ball. We're more open in the attack this game than we have been in a while imo.

TERRIBLE call. Should have been an easy penalty for Messi.
