If you don't vote in the poll it won't be counted since we have no way of knowing who did and who didn't vote.
Ideally if and when you post, give reasons not just the name.
If you think there is someone that should be on the poll let me know.
This is not who was best last year. It is who will be best in 2011.
1. Nnamdi Asomugha
2. Darrelle Revis

| wow, tough one. I was torn between Woodson, who is the 'best all around' but who finally started to show his age in 2010, Tramon, and Brandon Flowers. |

Antonio Cromartie is better than some of those CBs on the list, but anyways I will say Tramon Williams #3 CB this season. Hard to pick after Revis and Nnamdi. Williams was really good last season but he could drop off some this season and someone else step up. _________________

| Just asking, what makes people think Tramon Williams will be better than Flowers who I shall remember you was the very best cornerback in the NFL at the beginning of last season? Obviously Flowers is the better run defender but will Tramon Williams really be better in coverage? |

| Charles Woodson is more likely not to be even a top 10 CB this season (the guy is 35 years old and has already started his decline) but I won't say I'm surprised that people think every year is the same story. |

Agreed, I see him winning this #3 CB but he is not going to be that this season and wasn't that last season. _________________

Last offseason I predicted Woodson would show decline as his age caught up to him and I was dead accurate - I think this year his struggles increase and we see the end of his reign in the top 5 if not the top 10. _________________

No Corey Webster?
Gotta give it to Tramon though. He just keeps improving and improving. |

I didn't see a decline, and I was looking for it. He got a role change, however.
He's gonna be really, really good for a bit yet. His role will just change slightly.
He can still run stride for stride with Mike Wallace |

The last 3 years his success rate has dropped from 66% to 55%, his yards allowed per attempt has risen from 6 to nearly 8yds, and his penalties have gone from 4 for 15yds to 12 for nearly 100yds. He also went from 9 INT's last season to 2 INT and 21pts to 7pts scored.
I don't see how you can claim he didn't decline from his DPOY level in 2009 to his above average 2010. Combine that with the fact he's about to be 35yrs old and I think it's hard to put him in the Top 5 let alone the Top 3 for 2011. _________________

I voted for Tramon Williams, I think he supplants Woodson. Although Brandon Flowers is a close 4th _________________

His coverage skills did decline, yes. But he played a whole different role after Sam Shields took over the other CB spot.
Woodson pretty much plays the position that Polamalu plays for the Steelers and did a hell of a job at it aswell. _________________ "Sorry for being so frank, Frank." |
