If all three guys are available, who would you pick? _________________

I don't really want an OLB type here if I'm not convinced he's going to give us more star potential over Kruger/Kindle. My head says Glenn, but part of me wants the sexy pick in Hill. _________________

I won't be sorry when the Ravens finish 8-8. |

After giving it thought, I am not so upset with trading back lastnight. Given the right circumstances I would be open to one more trade back, depending who's left on the board. Anybody else have that feeling that Bruce Irvin was on our radar in the 2nd round? Seattle reached, but the talent is there.
I'm still voting we get Upshaw, he is just to much of a fit for us, even though I truly believe we pass. _________________

NO! I had Irvin 72nd overall and my 7th best LB. CRAZY reach for Seattle. All the better for us.
I'm with you on the vote for Upshaw. Simply too much talent and a perfect fit within our system. I hope we don't pass on him.
I am also hoping that Ozzie uses the 98th pick to trade back up in the 2nd to possibly acquire another starter. |

I voted Glenn but I'm torn between all three. He fills the biggest immediate need on the team and the OL needs to be addressed. Hill probably has the most upside but he's also the riskiest of the group. I just keep picturing him and Smith running effective deep routes and Cameron's offense actually working. Upshaw doesn't fill the biggest need but if they want to keep running a similar defense without Johnson then he's the perfect fit. I'm starting to wonder if he's going to be a better/different player than Johnson in the NFL though. I wouldn't spend a high pick on a guy like that, but he seems to be one of the most universally agreed upon BPAs left and if Ozzie's Alabama connections worked in Upshaw's favor then I think he might be the most likely pick. Of course I could see him going to the Colts too if Pagano wants a player like him for his defense.
They're probably going with Konz. |

Seriously, I'd be irate. If Glenn's still there when we pick, Konz wouldn't even be the best OL left on the board let alone the best player overall _________________

If Upshaw is there, I want him. If not, Cordy Glenn or Jonathan Martin would be fine.
Hope we can get Jefferey at 60. _________________ RAY RICE

I've strongly been in the draft a wide receiver camp. I'm really hoping we pick up Alshon Jeffrey or at least Stephen Hill. But really, I've learned over the past drafts not to be upset if they don't pick the guy I want. I trust our front office knows what it's doing better than all these draft pundits and a lot more than I know myself. The trade down already looks like a strong move given how the board turned out.
I'm really excited to see who we get though. It's new for us to be drafting so early in a round. |

The only guy I'd really be upset with is Hill.
I just don't like him as a player. At best I think he's Demaryus Thomas, and I know the guy had a really strong end to the season last year, but I still don't think he's ever gonna be a legit number 1 in this league. Stephan Hill, remarkably, has worse hands then Thomas does. We've dropped too many crucial balls the last two seasons for me to want a pick like that, regardless of his measurable. I'd much rather have Jeffery or even Sanu if we were going WR.
I know I'd **** a brick if we got Glenn at 35, but at this point I'm fully expecting St. Louis to take him with 33. The dude's just a monster though. He's by far my bpa. I honestly had him 15th overall. Maybe that's overrating him, but he's just that great a fit for us.
With that being said, Upshaw is the guy. He's Jarret Johnson, but a more violent version who is gonna end up a better pass rusher. I don't see him ever being a consistent double digit sack guy, don't get me wrong, but I think 6-8 sacks a year plus doing all the things JJ did for us too would be too much to pass up given the options. I hope for him at 35, and then Konz/Brooks/Silatulu at 60.
My dream though is Glenn at 35, and then trade up for whoever falls more between Upshaw and Kendricks. |

I'm torn between Glenn and Upshaw. Hill would be exciting, but I think between him, Jeffery and Quick we'd probably see one sitting at our next pick if we wanted.
Glenn would be the smart choice in my opinion as it'd give us a versatile guy along the OL and he's BPA at this point.
But I have a softspot for OLBs and I love me some Upshaw. He's the classic guy who doesn't test well, doesn't look good on paper, but he's a freakin' football player through and through. I feel like he's a "Raven". _________________

| I think St. Louis takes Hill or Jeffery and Colts take Fleener, so we can take one of Hill, Upshaw, Jeffery or Glenn. I'd be the least happy with Hill, but I've started warming up to the idea and since it is in the second round, Hill isn't a terrible choice here. I think Glenn would probably be the best choice though because he's the best OL on the board. I could definitely see us and the Rams trading back though so maybe one of the WR's last a little bit longer and we can still get one while adding a few more picks. |

| I don't get the hate for Konz. He seems like a great talent at a great need. The only concern that has/could drop his stock is if the doctors think any of his injury issues will linger. |

Thinking about it, he's probably who we take. It's the same as when we traded back and took Kindle. His stock dropped because he was considered an injury risk and I definitely didn't like that pick, nor would I really like to draft Konz. To me, most of the guys here can make an impact if they are on the field. The problem with guys like Konz is that they could make absolutely zero impact if they can't stay healthy. On the OL and especially at center, I would want a guy who I can count on being out there every all the time. The offensive line needs stability and it won't get that if the starting center is getting injured every year. |

I think Randle would be the most likely WR for the Rams to take. They might stick to defense though. With Fisher as the HC he probably wants to start building on that side of the ball. Their DL looks really nice now with Long, Quinn, Langford, and Brockers but they have a major need for OLBers (David, Brown possibly) and I wouldn't rule out Jenkins either.
Fleener to the Colts would be a really good pick but again with Pagano as the HC he probably wants to start building the defense. This is another spot I could see Jenkins going as well as Upshaw, Ta'amu, Worthy, Still, etc. They need a lot aside from edge-rushers.
What I'm saying is that I think it's looking good for the Ravens.

That's true. If all 4 of those guys are there, I would definitely see us trading back again. The way it's set up now, I think teams could get a little trade happy and it's probably going to be easy to jump back a few spots again and still end up with one of the guys we want. |
