VS
Time and Date: Saturday, Aug 27, 2011 at 7:30PM EDT
Things to watch
Keenan Lewis vs Roddy White
Keenan Lewis has played extremely well thus far, but this challenge will really give the Steelers a good evauation on how far Lewis has come.
Steelers OL vs the Falcons DL
The Steelers OL has been a work in progress and with pieces still being moved about throughout the process. The Falcon DL can create pressure with their front 7, so this group will be tested early and often.

Hoping Gilbert plays. Very interested to keep a close eye on him. Could be the starting LT sooner rather than later.
Hoping Ray Edwards plays. Want to see how Colon handles a guy with both size and speed post injury.
Hoping both Falcons CB's play. Grimes and Robinson are both legit starters and I want to see Brown in more extended action against them.
Keenan Lewis vs. Julio Jones will be a good litmus test.
No meaningless pre-season injuries is my biggest hope. _________________

I would like to add:
If 43 gets an INT that he gets the heck out of bounds as quickly as possible.
92 gets another good set of game reps against Baker. _________________

I think Silverback will destroy Baker if he was going in regular season mode. Baker is a little too soft to handle Harrison' power. _________________

Actually thought about typing that. Amen! _________________

John Abraham will test whoever is playing LT. This is a good game to find out who will be the LT. I would like to see Gilbert get a chance at one of the best, and see how he does. The team already knows what Scott can do.
Lewis could win the nickel spot on the roster. Lets hope he does, 22 has to go IMO.
They should just sit Troy. I see no reason to risk injury, and he will make the team. Harrison as well, keep him out and let the others get a chance.
Lets see if the coaches allow the starters to play a full half. |

| Like the first two games most of my attention will be on the o-line and corners, like most of you guys have said. |

| Jon Abraham absolutely annihilated Joe Thomas last season. I don't think it's fair to compare how our guys do at LT vs. Abraham. If we leave them on an island against Abraham and Ben is the QB, Tomlin needs to get fired! |

What's up guys. Just wanted to stop by and say our thread is up to if you have any questions. Feel free to ask about certain players or match ups.

Also, some random info. I will try to update every so often for you guys.
* If Edwards plays expect the ends to switch around a lot, (Biermann at RE/Edwards LE, Biermann RE/Abe LE.) So it should give some different looks to your o lineman.

Starks did well vs Abraham mostly on his own. Now he is not even on the team and lets see how these other players the FO feel are equal or better are in reality. I think Abraham will have a party in the backfield. If the give colon help, that will leave Abraham 1 on 1 and that is a problem. |

No he couldn't. He is strictly an outside Corner. _________________

Yes he could because BMac would slide inside. _________________

Which would make Lewis the outside corner and B-Mac the nickel.
I think I get it now. Lewis would be the 3rd corner on the depth chart but would only play outside and dare I say B-Mac would be used like Charles Woodson. _________________
