LoMan for me. Guys is probably the best G in football right now and with a full season should only cement that after last years old out. _________________

Carl Nicks. Great in the pass and the run game. He man handles his defensive opponents. He has been improving each year, and if he keeps progressing at the rate he has recently, he could be come the best interior lineman in the league. _________________

It's based on the future season, not the past. While I wouldn't vote for Sitton personally, I can see a case for him. I went with Logan Mankins _________________

Not that it's and end-all be-all or that Sitton is the best O lineman in the NFL but he is severely underrated and is a top 5 G for sure. _________________

I guess you have a point but he would be number 5 in my opinion because my top 5 guards would be -
1. Logan Mankins
2. Chris Snee
3. Carl Nicks
4. Harvey Dahl
5. Josh Sitton/Jahri Evans
But i guess thats just my opinion. _________________

I honestly don't even think Nicks is the best G on his team.
Sitton is great and I would go with him but Mankins is honestly a monster to play against. He is a better run blocker than Sitton in my opinion and just as good against the pass rush. No offense to Sitton.
Could just be biased though since I get to see Mankns much more than Sitton. _________________

No offense, but we all saw how bad players are at judging other players. I do agree that he is a top 5 G though. _________________

Last years winner was Steve Hutchinson and then the year before that Alan Faneca with the Jets.
I wouldn't say either were the best offensive linemen that year. Faneca with the Jets and in his latter years with the Steelers was a liability in pass protection.
And for some reason not once did an OT winner the award in the last 5 years. Seems like there is some major bias going on in that voting system... _________________

I'm not gonna say that Sitton should have won because I don't think he was the best. But there is a big difference between a name getting some undeserved credit as opposed to the voting of a guy most people even on this board and knowledgeable haven't hear of.
It's kind of hard to see Sitton getting undue praise on name recognition like Hutch and Faneca could. _________________

| I am going with Logan Mankins, guy is good. Third best would probably go to Mo Pouncey or Carl Nicks. |
