Wilshere won't play for England in their friendly against Holland despite the call up this Wednesday.. as per Arsene Wenger.

I hope we say a similar thing about our payers, obscene time to have a friendly. _________________

I don't really like how Arsene just tells countries what to do and what not to do. He has no right to order a country's FA what do to. I suppose that is typical Arsene though.
That being said, friendlies this close to the start of the season are absolutely idiotic anyway. _________________

Wilshere is already recovering from that ankle injury anyways. Capello should have some respect and not ask him to play either way.
This is FIFA's fault for scheduling obviously, but I don't blame Arsene at all for not wanting an already nicked up player being rushed back for a meaningless game right before a long season. _________________

That changes things, Capello shouldn't have selected him. He did a similar thing with Carroll when he had just recovered from his injury at Liverpool. _________________

I wouldn't mind a freak Europe-wide snow storm and that they all get canceled. _________________

I'm right there with you with RvP, maybe more so. I honestly hope we don't play too many big names at all. I wanna see what a few young Eredivisie players can do, like Pieters and de Jong.
I really want Pieters to gain some confidence and fill in the hole left when van Bronckhorst retired. _________________
