Modric coming back by the end of the month. Both he and Kroos looked great together before Luka got hurt.

It's a shame it was so out of hand but I would have been pretty surprised if we won that game. Glad we're still in first but it would be pretty sweet if Bilbao could steal some points from Barca today

CR7 five goals are def going to take over all front pages, but the game James played after two months out was incredible.

Always thought he was a good to great player who got overrated after a superb WC, but he has zipped my mouth. Kid is magic with the ball on his feet.

Still will be in top 2 and challenge and he has Champions League pedigree but he generally doesn't play great football and Ronaldo won't like the rotation...

Won La Liga before though so not an awful appointment. Best could get as Klopp a big risk.

Sublime free kick from Hamez Rodriguez in the 3-0 win over Inter today. Had one just a bit earlier saved by Handanovic as well.

They have looked really good in their preseason games from what I've heard. Maybe the era of Rafa Benitez is upon us.

I've been pretty pleased with how we've looked offensively, and not just from the stars. Jese, Cheryshev, etc have looked good

However, defensively there are still too many lapses. That could just be because it's the preseason, but I can't say with confidence that won't keep happening once the games actually matter. I'm still concerned Rafa won't be able to handle all the superstars in his locker room but that could just be paranoia on my part. I like Rafa, I really do hope it works out with him

It's not like any of them come through to make the first team.

And isn't the C team in like the 5th division? Can't imagine it's bursting with talented youngsters if they got relegated.
