I'm in a 14 team .5 ppr and RB seems really top heavy.
Last year I loved Charles, Forte, and the Raiders RB duo but based on my mocks I don't really like anything after the big ones.
Other than Addai. Nice and safe, traditionally strong offense. _________________

I don't really know what's up with McFadden but I heard he broke a bone in his face or something
IMO probably should have gone Gates/Finley in the 4th and a WR in the 5/6, RB in 7/8 and then a DST but that's just me
I like getting elite TEs
Also if you are in a position to get Green or Julio go for Julio
The hype on him in camp is crazy, they are pretty much tied but with the hype and the other threats in Atlanta and way better QB puts him over the top IMO
Glad you went K last
They are pretty useless and it always makes me smile when someone gets a K earlier
Pretty good mock over all
EDIT:
Also if you guys are in leagues with 2 RBs and a flex there is no shame in going RB/RB/RB if the top tier WRs/QBs are gone, no much difference between the middle round guys this year
Just a matter of preference
Every team passes, not every team runs effectively and with RBs being valued more than QBs (and most WRs/TEs) it's worth being good at that and being consistent in the others with sleepers that boom/bust on the bench _________________
Drive off into the sunset, you brilliant bastard.
|

I stay away from Packers players as much as possible. Obviously, at a certain point it might be too good of value and that's when I take them. | Same. Like most, i tend to overvalue the players on my team so i stay away from All Packers unless the value is clearly in my favor. _________________

Came in here expecting to talk Dragons, Elves and other stuff like that.
Bring back the Lockout I say. To much silly football talk ever since it ended. _________________

My league is 14 very active very die hard packer fans. Last year I was
"Favre's Flaccid Crocs"
But this year the character limits on the team names forced me to be creative.
I went with:

I'm in an 8-man keeper league where we get to keep 6 players. Have a tough decision to make. Here are my sure-fire keepers:
(btw, this is the starting line-up set-up): QB, RB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, TE, OP [anyone], OP, D/ST, K
Keepers:
QB Aaron Rodgers
QB Phillip Rivers
RB Ray Rice
RB LeSean McCoy
WR Calvin Johnson
For the last slot, I have to choose between Darren McFadden, Rashard Mendenhall, and Dwayne Bowe. Thoughts? Currently leaning towards McFadden. _________________

McFadden has a spell back though doesn't he?
I expect the Raiders to run less than the Steelers this year
I don't think Bowe should be on the list
McFadden/Mendenhall and they will probably end up with the same amount (approx) of points
McFadden will be more off and on though and Mendenhall will be more consistant _________________
Drive off into the sunset, you brilliant bastard.
|

what do you guys think about Veron Davis (4th round) and Austin Collie (5th round) i know i took Austin collie really early but if he stays healthy he has huge upside
right now i only have
QB: Tom Brady
WR: Roddy White
WR: Austin Collie
TE: Veron Davis
im banking on rookie RB'S coming out strong this year and it is PPR league

Like I said before
If there is one thing that you know Alex Smith can do it's check down to a TE
Vernon is a great TE in the end of the 4th, I assume Gates/Finley went before you?
How many teams?
Collie is sketchy but he should be good when healthy
I just don't think he will be healthy :/ _________________
Drive off into the sunset, you brilliant bastard.
|
