Draft Frye and re-sign Holcombe... kind of like what Pittzpuke did with Maddox and Roethlisberger last year... only thing is, we'd groom Frye for a year and then have him step in as the starter in '06... BTW, we CANNOT PASS on him if he is available in round 2 when we draft - F THAT MEL KIPER THINKS HE'S GOING IN THE 3RD - HE WON'T LAST THAT LONG!!! _________________ "Anything that is worth doing is worth doing right." |

It's actually kind of interesting.

Apparently Tim Couch had an undiagnosed torn rotator cuff that he was trying to play on. It could explain the "dead" arm that he had in Green Bay, or maybe even his last few games at QB with us here in Cleveland. I dunno.
He could be a solid backup somewhere next year, so I wouldn't say we've seen the last of him. I dunno, I liked Tim Couch, so I may be a little biased. _________________ Jon |

| I liked Tim Couch, maybe if we get at least 1 more OLmen then we can have some protection for our next starting QB.... Personally, I think Luke McCown is good... He's got a great arm and he is pretty smart... |

Much like I gave up on Belicheck when he cut Kosar, I lost all faith in Butch when he cut Tim. He was the face of the new franchise.
I like Holcomb, too. But with the line the way it was, two good QBs were necessary. Even if the backup was making $7M. |
