The "Make A Movie" Draft - IV
It's been almost a month since we started the last one, but I figured there was enough interest both with people from the last draft, as well as new people who wanted to get in on this since the last one did very well. Things are kind of slow around here right now, so I think this will be a fun distraction. So I'm hoping to get a new group of 10 going to make a new batch of movies!
I'll explain the rules again in case you aren't familiar.
1. The point of this is to draft both your director, and your set of actors for a brand new film. The first round of the draft will be the director round, after that we will begin drafting actors.
2. The main setup of the draft looks like this:
One Director
Two Lead Roles
Three Supporting Roles
Four Minor Roles/Cameos
although the draft lineup is mostly just to provide organization, your film doesn't need to have two "set leads", you can do a full ensemble cast if you wish, but you are still drafting 9 actors and 1 director.
3. The draft will have eight rounds, with ten people in snake format. The last two rounds will select two actors per pick to speed it up. You will get 24 hours from the last pick to be on the clock, after that you will be skipped and you will have to make up your pick.
4. After you have drafted everyone, the next step will be to make your write-up. This is a plot description of your movie along with a cast and character list. All of our write-ups from the last draft can be found here. As I said last time, you don't have to write Shakespeare here. A brief synopsis is fine unless you've got a full story ironed out, in which case by all means share it with us.
So we will now be taking signups for this. We need to fill out the 10 draft positions, at which point I will randomize the draft order and we can get this started. So go ahead and post here if you want in on this (and to reserve your roster post). Please only sign up if you will treat this seriously and keep up with it.

I'd love to do it again.
I'll draft a completely different movie. _________________

I think I want to go with a more off the wall director, but we'll see. I took Danny Boyle and QT in my last two drafts so maybe I'll take a lesser known name. _________________

I'll probably start as soon as I figure out my story (so after I get my director) _________________
