I don't think we'll get a top 7 pick. We'll have to hope that we'll trade our acquired picks to get back our pick from Utah like Lacob & Riley keep saying.

I wish we could somehow jump and get the 1st. Why, oh why can we not get lucky for once? Sad

I don't think it's happening either. Right now the Warriors have the 9th worst record. They're going to have to pass two teams to get into the 7th spot. Cleveland, Sacramento, and Detroit are the team ahead of them. I just can't see them passing two of those teams. Both the Kings and Pistons have 5 more losses right now.

Wow, that's gotta be some of the worst luck/decision making any franchise has gone through.

No matter what record we end up with, we have a chance to keep our pick.

The only way we are guaranteed to keep our pick is if we finish with the 4th worst record. In that case, even if 3 teams jump over us (very unlikely, but possible), we would still end up 7th in the lottery and keep our pick. There’s only a 1.2% chance of this scenario happening (and we are unlikely to finish with the 4th worst record, so let’s not worry about it).

Most likely, we will finish with the 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th worst record. In order, these are the probabilities (in %) that we keep our pick in each case:

6th (95.9%)
7th (75%)
8th (10%)
9th (6.1%)

Good chance to keep our pick, but with the Warriors' luck, who knows.

Since the Warriors are finally nationally televised again, it's time for another post! lol.

Hopefully we continue to tank although I still want our young guys to keep improving (mainly Klay Thompson, Charles Jenkins, and Jeremy Tyler).

Huge game between NJN & TOR tonight. I believe we have to do a coin flip with the loser to determine who gets the #7 overall. Of course...we have to lose to SA first, who is without Duncan, Ginibili, Parker, and Popovich.

Sucks to see Lee, Curry, and Bogut all need surgery. I'm not worried though. They all seem minor.

On a good note:
Quote:
Center Andrew Bogut never had the luxury of being surrounded by 3-point sharpshooters during his days in Milwaukee.

He will in Golden State, though.

The Warriors have some of the league’s best perimeter shooters. To wit: Stephen Curry ranks third in the NBA in 3-point shooting at .455; Brandon Rush is sixth at .447; Richard Jefferson is 14th at .419 and Klay Thompson — whom the Bucks should have taken with the 10th overall pick instead of foolishly trading it to get Stephen Jackson — is 14th at .419.
