Ehh I disagree. If you are looking for Halo 2? Sure, but Reach wasnt a bad game at all especially after the no bloom playlist was added. Luckily that was always a strength of Halo was its customization options.

This game is way too much like CoD now. Perks, Armor Abilities (Especially promethean vision) choosing your weapon, lack of fixed weapons on the map etc.
I hope it's good, just doubt it will be.

I get what you are saying, but I do think there will be playlist more closely related to regular Halo. Atleast that what Im hoping lol.

You can't really judge the game though until you play it. Sure, it's got more emphais on perks and armor abilities this time around, but I'm almost positive it will still play just like the Halo we all know and love, and not feel anything like CoD. I personally can't wait for it, I'm really excited about the Spartan Ops mode too.

Forge will be in Halo 4, they say there will be significant improvements, but didn't specify. They'll say more this summer.

Honestly, if Spartan Ops is actually good and 343 makes an effort to make like a community custom game playlist that gets updated every month or something. Even if the actual game of Halo, I think I would be happy. Custom games on Halo is some of the best parts of Halo

From what I understand, kinda like how they did in Reach, your character in multiplayer and Spartan Ops is the same? Only difference is in campaign you are MC obviously. If that is the case, then I wonder if they will have a credit system like in Reach for your online character, or if it will be something totally different.

I think there are a few things they SHOULD put in to not alienate their hardcore fans.
A True Ranking system. A place for True Ranking, then none ranking playlists. Let great players find great players.
A regular playlists, I know games need to evolve, but they cant get away from Halo. This seems to be a little complicated.
Forge, which Im not worried about.
I think they should have
Ranked MLG
Ranked Halo 4
Ranked Regular (whether this is community ran or not)
Social Playlist for guests and non competitive players
My worry is this separates the playlist too much.

Something interesting that kind of fixes the sprint problem imo. If you get shot, you stop sprinting. Seems like an interesting change. Of course its permanent though lol

I seriously HOPE that this resembles the better parts of H3 and basically ignores the polished turd that was Halo: Reach.

I'm the complete opposite of you, hated Halo 3, at least the multiplayer portion of it.
