Had one of the more intense grifball games ever....
1:30 left, tied game. From 1:30 to 0:10 seconds both teams has 2 decent pushes with a last line defense, finally at around 12 seconds, opponent gets a stop and throws it up thinking its over. I receive it like its a punt or kick return. Forced to rush it, I use some good blocking and score on the last second! Sadly you need freaking 5 seconds to actually score the point... It even yells SCORE right before the game ends...

Unless it is no longer a 1-hit kill or has less than melee range, it's not enough IMO. |

Ehh Im fine with it beating melee, I hate melee in halo anyways lol

One thing I'd like to possibly see is there have to be some sort of recharge time for meleeing. So people can't just double melee.
BTW, I showstopped my own Assassin today. It's on two seperate clips on my File Share.

Idea for a custom game: Foot Race
Make a "racing map" that's a simple (meaning not full of jumps or tricks) obstacle course/track filled with booby traps (McMc might remember what I'm talking about) and give players like 200% running speed. Could definitely take advantage of speed boosts and invisible grav zones.

How much are these each?
I really don't like having to spend extra money to get map packs. It's not so much the actual dollar amount as it is the concept of having to pay more for content they probably withheld from the game release in order to charge more for it later.
I didn't download any Reach DLC because of this. I used to download all the DLC in Halo 2 and 3, but it kind of seemed silly to me when I realized I essentially bought a second game in the end. |

No it's really weird, maybe just so quick the game couldn't process but it wasn't with a scattershot.

My main gripe with this game continues to be the lack of a "social" game type.
A lot of the time I just want to casually play, and not worry about people who have tactical plans for every map.
They do have a remake of Lockout now, though. Shutout, it's called. Not bad.
Wish it was a little darker, but I think it's a good remake. |
