Official 2011 NFL DRAFT THREAD:

-This thread can be used as a catchall to talk about picks, trades, etc.

-Please keep it clean. Make the mods jobs easy by not getting in heated arguments if things don't go your way.

-Do Raider Nation proud, don't troll other teams forums.

-You might want to consider switching the Forum Style to "subSilver" during the draft. The forums will load A LOT faster using that forum style rather than the standard "FF" style. To do this go to your Profile, scroll down to "Preferences" and select "subSilver" from the drop down list on the "Board Style." - (Thank AAA for the tip)

#1 overall. Is the pick Cam Newton?? Or are the Kittens blowing hot air?

If they take Newton, they will be sorry.

If I'm the Panthers, I take AJ Green. Give Clausen a target. See what he can do with a year under his belt. If they fall short, Luck/Barkely will be FAR better options than Cam 'the icon' Newton.

Newton will be a big bust. Panthers will be lucky in that a rookie pay scale will probably come in before they sign him. Von Miller to the broncos as well probably.

At #2, sounds like Von Miller is the pick in Denver.

Personally, I like this. He's a good playerBUT he's a 3-4 edge rusher. Playing in a 4-3, I don't like him as much.

Dareus is overrated, but would help them along the Dline.

Peterson is a beast and the farther he is out of the AFC West, the better.

Von Miller is the less of evils in the West.

If I was the Panthers I would move back and draft Peterson even if I had to let the clock run out. If I could pick up a second I'd shoot for Austin.

Also, if Cam goes #1 overall, then there is a less chance Kaep will be there at 48.
