FFMDII (2011) : Buffalo Bills War Room
The Jobs
- General Manager – Will make all of the final decisions and is in control of everything ranging from submitting trades to making draft picks. However, this position weighs equally amongst the staff in terms of opinion and everyones say should be accounted for before he determines the best route for the team. Each member will greatly influence his decisions.
- Assistant GM – 2nd in line to the GM and assists the GM in all areas. He will explore trade options around the league and all trade offers are directed through him to then announce in the war room for discussion. If the GM is unavailable the Assistant GM is able to make draft picks and post UFA bids. Only the GM and Assistant GM have this ability.
- President of Player Personnel – Is responsible for developing a free agency target list, projecting trades with other teams and reviewing players on all levels both college and pro.
- Vice President of Player Personnel - Assists President of Player Personnel with free agency list, prospective trade targets, and reviewing all pro and college players.
- Director of College Scouting – Helps decide needs and works with the national scouts to develop a big board for the draft.
- Capologist – This person is in charge of maintaining and keeping tabs of the salary information of the team. At all times the team must maintain a budget in regards to the annual revenue the team brings in. The responsibility for correct figures will lie in his hands and an excel spreadsheet for constant updating is usually helpful. A 53 man roster must be maintained as well.
- Head Coach – Has a key part in all decisions, but his focus is mainly on the team itself, rather than looking for trade options, etc… The draft board and player targets should be of importance to him as adding players he views as a fit for his system is critical.
- Offensive Coordinator - Helps decide needs and works with the offensive scouts to look for help on offense. Focus on potential UFA’s and picks that could help this side of the ball.
- Defense Coordinator - Helps decide needs and works with the defensive scouts to look for help on defense. Focus on potential UFA’s and picks that could help this side of the ball.
- Offensive Scout - Is responsible for helping out with info on all offensive players, college and pro.
- Defensive Scout - Is responsible for helping out with info on all defensive players, college and pro.
- National Scout -- Will evaluate all draftable players and assist the Director of College Scouting with the big board.
- Director of Media Relations -- Will report to the writers with feedback and information relative to the news of what is happening with the organization.

Hey BM, the roster in the forum directory should be up to date if you want to use that as a starting point. I have no idea how FFMDII is going to handle free agency with the CBA, but all of the players (free agents or not) are currently included in the depth chart section.

I'd be concerned about Ryans's injury. There's also the question about him moving to the 3-4, but I don't necessarily think that is as big of a deal as the injury is. I'd assume he'd be an ILB in our system. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I agree jb. I think if we are going to be trading anywhere in the 1st it should be trading down.
