I'm hosting a 16 team College Football Fantasy Draft. I originally wanted to do a keeper league that will carry over year after year, but I'm skeptical because every one I've ever been in has failed. Considering that I don't know the people that join Fantasy Drafts on this forum (and it's open sign-ups), I don't think I want to have a keeper league. However, if 16 people are down for it, then I'll reconsider.

Draft Rules
  • 25 Rounds: one-player per round for the first 9, two-players per round for the last 16
  • 38 Players and 3 Coaches (HC, OC, DC) - You can have as many players as you want at any given position so long as you can fill an entire play-able roster. The Coaches you draft must maintain that role in real life (no HC's as your OC/DC)
  • There will be Time Slots or a Time Limit (haven't decided how long)
  • PM the person picking behind you
  • You may trade picks/players so long as maintain the 38 player roster spots
  • All current FBS players are eligible
  • Which ever team you choose to represent, you'll also be given their home stadium. The Home Stadium provides you with a possible advantage come playoffs when the higher seeded team will play host to the lower seeded team
Draft Thread

Voting Rules
  • When the Draft is finished, all participants will pm me their power rankings for the teams involved. Using these, I'll create pre-season rankings
  • At the end of the season, we'll have a 16-team playoff (using the pre-season rankings? haven't decided). The winner of the playoff will be crowned Champion

If we have enough people that are interested in doing a yearly keeper league then we would end up having a recruit draft for the incoming recruits. I'll go more into detail later, if need be.

I'm in with Michigan State. I've been in one before and got fairly far but ran out of players I knew. I'd love to do this, but really only if it's a keeper thing, ie a recruiting draft every year to replace departing players. Also I'd be willing to have a co-GM as I'll likely need one for when it gets to the later rounds if my team is to be competitive.
