It could mean they are targeting a DE in free agency such as Charles Johnson or Ray Edwards, or it could simply be due to news not getting out.

Add Da'Rel Scott to that list.

Also, found this no idea where to post it:

OG is just another fan. We do like HAnkerson, but we also like Smith and a few other WR's.

But Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff, head coach Mike Smith and offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey donít show up for everybodyís private workout unless the player is getting serious consideration. They were all at Jerniganís workout on Wednesday.

We already knew the Falcons were somewhat interested in Jernigan, but this shows something. To have Dimitroff, Smith, and Mularkey all attend his personal workout, I think it just goes to show they have a lot of interest in him.

I have mixed feelings about Jernigan. He's explosive and quick, but he will never be a vertical threat. He'll never be a #2 as he's strictly a slot WR. I wouldn't mind him in the second round, but I would rather have other guys.

"Below-average height and weight but excellent top-end speed."

"But the skill set flies off the tape, and in the right system, he could be a real impact player in time. Jernigan has said that he models his game after DeSean Jackson's, and through he doesn't explode off the tape quite the same way Jackson does, any debits against him for his size or opponent strength are completely erroneous."

He's explosive, but he plays nowhere near like Jackson. D-Jax is an elite vertical threat, whereas Jernigan won't make any plays down the field. He'll work the middle of the field and get most of his yards after the catch. The exact opposite of Jackson. The speed, quickness, and shiftiness is all there, but his size hinders him a lot.

Everybody wants a d-jax clone, that's why titus young stock blew up initially. Players need to be evaluated on their own merits and not compared to someone else.

Those quotes dont say hes like Jax. It says he models his game after Jax's but isnt as quick off the line.
