Its like old times on here again.

I love this Waldo, I wonder how similar it is to what NFL GM's actually do vs. how much of it to them is just 'an eye' for it.

Very, VERY little!!!!!!!

Is it the eye as I proposed or some other tool?

It's the sum of ALL the parts, and always will be. The numbers are just a small part of a very large picture!

I'd actually be very interested to know the complete and total scouting process of a player.

It's something so shrouded in mystery for most fans.

Hook us up Palmy. Cool

Hey Palmy what's your take on Manti Te'o from ND? Where does he translate to in the NFL? Best player to come out of Hawaii in a while.

Much of that young mans grade will come down to the med check. If clean you have a very high grade mike/sam prospect in the Rey Maualuga mold. Loved him out of high school, and still do!

Good mike class though, could fall some.

Hey Joker- I'm not Joe Arrigo.

I'm Terranimal. Been around since '97. Ex- Assistant sysop of the original Packer Report, Co-Administrator of the Packer threads at Rivals until 2003, Ex-Moderator at the first Packer Chatters before it relocated in '06. If anyone would have read through that original post would have seen said walterfootball.com

I read here some last year and thought would share what a trusted friend of mine was hearing about the Pack currently looking at OLBers for rounds 3-4 and threw some names out there to see if anyone might know something, but can see some here would rather be juvenile and petty instead. No biggie, carry on.........

No matter who you are, you seem at least competent about football and hope you stick around, always like reading new perspectives from guys who enjoy the game and know something about it.

I completely understand, I think I'm the only NFL junky in the entire north shore.

My dad tries, but he's just not that into it. Heading off to Madison next year though Very Happy

Palmy when I watch Upshaw I keep thinking Woodley. Is it simply wishful thinking on my part or does he compare well to Woodley? If you had to compare Upshaw to a curent NFL player who would it be?

Funny how this thread sprang back to life after pretty much being dead since the draft.

If I wrote it, I own it, so does it matter if I copy/paste my own from another place?

If you mean the copy/paste of player stuff, others do it, but I have permission to do so from those sites. But might not for doing so here, as when I do that other places I write, always give credit to those sites and here that's not allowed.

In view of the rule, it would be polite to say used with permission whenever appropriate.

On copypasta:

Quote:
1. Preferred method is to just link to the article.

2. Quoting from free public articles is allowed provided its not more then a sentence or two and a link is provided to the source.

3. No quoting and no paraphrasing is allowed from articles that are part of any websites paid content or member only content.

4. Never copy and paste a complete article to the forums.

Permission or not, just don't copypasta. List those names, post a link to the info on them, continue posting. Copypasta is frowned upon with or without permission and with or without citation. Even if it is yours. Those rules keep it as simple as possible.

I'm just tryin to figure out who he looks like in the NFL. I like how he uses his hands. I dont see him use the bull rush a lot, I just cant put my finger on this one.
