i dont claim to know much about this guy

or if he is a free agent to be or what sort of draft pick it would take to acquire him

but the guy is 5'9 222 lbs and so is a "big" running back.

he is pittsburgh 3 down back so obviously has skills as a blocker and pass catcher, ideal for our system

and with his size could probably pound it in between the tackles

sounds like a good fit to me?

what u guys think?

any other running backs you would tink would fit our system

i think the eagles should sign an older vetran rb like moe williams from min who we can sign for a shorter cheaper deal then vernon ... plus moe brings a little more size and experience

Interesting idea, but I think the eagles are going to see how Thomas Tapeh looks after coming back from his hip injury. He's 6'1" 247lbs. and already knows the offense, plus he showed promise before going down with the hip injury.
Another idea thrown out there was for the birds to draft number one ranked FB L. Vickers who will probably be available in the 4th rd. The guy does it all, but he is actually a little slower than Tapeh.
All in all, not really crazy about Haynes and I would like to see them go in another direction.

I live in western pa and watch the steelers play all the time and can truthfully say he isn't any better then what we already have. haynes is nothing to get excited about at all.
