Okay, seriously guys. How is there not a thread for this game?
This is the most simple, yet the most fun and addictive game I have seen in years...
I hate the games industry nowadays with EA and Activision making sub par games (bar Dead Space 2) and then selling DLC for extorcionist prices after and patching up the problems after the community has found them///
But Minecraft is simple, fun and still in Beta phase, so if any problems arise, the developers are on the case in a jif...
Its seriously the best $20 or something you will spend...
I won't put in the link because it may violate FF rules, but google it or something...

There was, but surprisingly not many play it here I dont think. I want to, but I dont really have money to spend. But I might now, theres a server I want to try out (its a public server a couple of commentators I listen to have opened)

I used the search tool to try and find it but no threads came up... 
And its only $20 dude and its yours forever!!! lol

My mate was saying that you need like a super processor to do it...
I would, but sadly I do not have the power

I don't keep my server on often, but if anyone wants to play my server will be up tonight at 75.73.5.87. The only mod I use is runecraft. Max players is set at 10 right now but if it fills up I will add more.

You really don't. I've been running mine on my laptop for months and have never had a problem. I've never had more than a few people on at a time though.

You can host locally with the server client, but a lot of people run dedicated servers.

LOVE this game. Me and some friends play on a private server, it's pretty awesome. If you have hours and nothing to do with it... Minecraft helps fill that void.

Just got bought it yesterday. Haven't stopped playing.
I finally understand why everyone hates creepers. Blew up my house MULTIPLE times, and it is on a freaking hill.
