I know this is the antithesis of the "who would you want to pick?" topic, but I really wanted to see everyones position. If you choose 'other', tell who it is and make sure it is reasonable--for instance don't say Michael Robinson since he def won't be a first round pick.

In my opinion, I think it would be Lendale White. It's not because I don't think he is a good player, but just not a good fit for us. I don't think he has good hands, which is a must for a 3rd down back for the Eagles. Teams will overload the box on third and short, and I don't think he is good enough to get a first in the situation. Plus he will only get a max of 5 carries in a game--a waste for a 1st round pick.

1. Holmes
2. Kiwi
3. White

Holmes is just another Freddie Mitchell, Kiwi was manhandled at the Senior Bowl and Tamba Hali is much better, and LenDale White played at USC, which automatically makes him at least a bit overrated.

I voted Santonio Holmes for a few reasons.

A) Too small, we need a big, tough WR
B) Rookies have trouble mastering Eagles offense, we need help now
C) Won't start or be alot of help for atleast a year, maybe two
D) Could help out on special teams, but we can find someone with same abilities later in the draft
E) Isn't worth the 14th overall pick

NO HOLMES PREAK IS RIGHT ON THE MONEY

VERNON DAVIS IS THE PICK IF WE ARE GOING OFFENSE - HE IS A POWERFUL AFTER CATCH RUNNER FOR OVER THE MIDDLE.

Here are the Top 3 players I would least like the Eagles to take.
1) White: Not worth taking if he doesn't get 20 touches a game and we just re-sign Westbrook.
2) Holmes: WR generally don't learn the system well and not worth taking someone so early if they going to backup Skinny and Lewis.
3) KIWI: Did you hear about the Senior Bowl practices - enough said.

Without a doubt it would be any of the wide recievers. Some may be good in the NFL and looking back in several years we might regret it in hindsight, but for the first time in several drafts there isn't a sure thing at wide reciever. There is so much more talent a the other positions in this draft that reaching for a wide reciever early would make little sense, and I don't think Reid will do it.

If wide reciever was 1A, then 1B would definately be any safety. There is some talent this year at free safety, and unfortunately I can envision Reid picking one of them up in the first and "building for the future" with the end of Dawkins's career looming. Just typing the quoted phrase above makes me shudder....
