Rodgers led in PR and TDs coming into this week. He's at absolute worst 3rd right now.
Might be 2nd to Manning after this week. |
Four weeks left. It'll be close. _________________

How can he dig a hole if he's too busy sitting on his hands? |

It's going to be Peyton, unless Rodgers ends the year with monster games. |

Rodgers needs a monster game next week to re-enter the MVP convo. National TV spotlight is huge for MVP talk. He needs a 4-5TD game with 300+ yards. Right now it's probably something like this:
Peyton
Brady
Rodgers
Peterson
Even though they have similar #'s, Rodgers has less yards and has a bad national TV game on his record, as well as a worse record, so he's behind Manning and Brady. Need to have some big games to end the season, especially next week in the spotlight. |

Mannings has the whole 'comeback from neck surgery' thing going for him too. He's winning MVP, easily. _________________

Manning had a worse national game with what, 3 INTs vs Atlanta? He put them in the hole that lost him that game.
I have:
Brady
Manning/Rodgers
.
..
...
....
.....
Everyone else
But voters using their MVP flow chart are going to wind up voting for Manning. _________________

That game was also 27-21. Rodgers game was 38-10. Fair? Not really. That's the way it is though. Rodgers needs a dominating performance on national TV to help him. |

And Rodgers vs Houston is far and away better than any game Manning has played, and against better competition. The two even out. _________________

The Giants game is fresh though. Houston seems like an eternity ago. |

ditto. if Rodgers doesn't get "hot" according to the media then Peyton has this thing locked up. the whole "comeback" thing is pretty polarizing. _________________

Yup. Rodgers is going to need a clear stat lean on Manning to overcome the whole new team, coming back from neck surgery thing. |

I really liked going to the game yesterday because I was able to see farther down the field than television shows. It seemed like Rodgers was getting better protection than last week, but it also appeared that we were holding a fair amount of personnel in to help with blocking and the 2-3 receivers we had running routes weren't getting open. I can only remember a handful of throws that weren't the result of a broken play and Rodgers having to roll out to either side. On the plus side, though, we have a quarterback who can do that. I can only imagine what Rodgers would do if he had a pocket that wasn't collapsing every other play... |

So without Rodgers, what are we looking at? 1-11 at this point? You have to believe Rodgers is carrying this team for most of the season _________________ Packers fan since 93. |

who would our 1 win come from?
i doubt Harrell could get a win with a full week of prep... im not even sure he could protect a lead if #12 were to get hurt
although he did look improved at giving handoffs during the giants blowout (baby steps i guess) |
