Its time to get started. Even though we don't have a full staff we need to get to work on the upcoming events. we need to start to work on the Releasing/tagging stage.

Quote:
Friday, February 11th will begin the tag/release period. A thread will be created in the GM Mock Draft forum at this time with necessary franchising costs, including a couple of exceptions. This is what you should be preparing for once the War Room's are in place. This period includes pre-free agency preparation as well. During this period, the staff will look over their cap situation and roster and decide if they would like to use the franchise tag and who they'd like to release before free agency. All teams must be under their set cap before heading into the RFA period.

If a team has already tagged or released a player in real life, that is counted in FFMD-11 as long as it happened up to Thursday, February 3rd at midnight EST. Any “real world” transactions that occurred prior to this time will be reflected in the rosters for this draft. Any “real world” transactions that occur after will be excluded. We're blank-slating the rosters, so it's the GM's baby to make sure your key players are kept, not the meddling views of the "real world."

Here is our current cap information
Oakland Raiders - 99.6M Cap Space Remaining: 35M

I sent you a PM, there are some things to iron out before you can start working on players and transactions. Wink

I'll send you all my database tonight via PM. It'll include my positional rankings, my top 200 big board, and a few in-depth profiles probably.

i cant find his 2011 Salary Cap Hit... for a 33 year old RT i dont think i would make this trade... id rather see what mario henderson could do at RT, and get a rookie RT in the 3rd or 4th. Cough Barksdale Cough

Sorry not part of this just a heads up.

Will be 34 during the next season and coming off achilles surgery, I'd pass.

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked.

I don't disagree with that but another point of view is, this is not like a keeper MD, so the idea is to get the best team you can on paper. I don't know that I would make that trade, but its something to keep in mind.

Sorry, that confirms why I shouldn't have butted in.

As the DC I am interested, but only if we are changing to a 3-4. Those two are both ILBs in their respective system if I recall. in a 4-3 your only need one top tier MLB and Ro did a hell of a job for us last year.
