Might as well start tracking their movements in a thread dedicated to them now.

I think Bledsoe will be back with the Suns, but Monroe could wind up on another team.

Not sure what teams would be interested in giving them the max though. Had the Rockets matched Parsons' offer sheet, then the Mavs might have, but now, their best options might be to sign the QO, or sign for the max that the team is willing to give them, and then try to force a trade.

I'm risk averse, so gimme the money, lol.

Should the Pacers inquire about one of these guys?

Bledsoe might be the PG they need in Vogel's "black hole" offense.

Monroe next to Hibbert would create one of the biggest frontcourts in NBA history, but that's not necessarily a good thing.

I wish I could act like it is 2K and get both

Pretty sure we can. Maybe a S&T. I'm not sure if we have Bledsoe's Bird Rights though.

Definitely not what he wants, probably not even close to what we already offered him.

Yeah, Bledsoe's agent wants the max because Parsons and Hayward both got the max.

For a dude that only played half the season, that's too much, especially since the market has settled now. If the market was unsettled, then sure, you might get that deal, and that's exactly how Hayward and Parsons got theirs, but now, it's just not gonna happen.

But, if it is for the max, the Pacers could make it happen by sending David West and a dude like CJ Watson for Bledsoe.

I wouldn't make that trade if I'm Indiana though. I would definitely consider if I'm Phoenix though.

Pacers can afford them in sign and trades

George Hill and Scola combine for $12 million+

David West and another player combine for $13 million+

Imagine a 2015-16 lineup that looks something like this

Eric Bledsoe
Paul George
Shawn Marion (mini-MLE this year maybe?)
Greg Monroe
Roy Hibbert

Obviously not going to happen, but that 2K squad would be to my liking. Floor spacing would be an issue for sure, but it's not like they were that much of a threat offensively this past season.

Monroe can harness the range on his J some more, while Marion can hit the 3, and so can Bledsoe (just not the 3 point specialists you would like out there).

Well, you have his RFA rights, so you can definitely go over the cap to keep him. I'm pretty sure that you guys do have his bird rights though, since he was on the Clippers for 3 straight years.

So it's just a matter of figuring out a S&T for Monroe. It would cost a lot though since you guys don't really have any large, tradeable contracts right now. Might have to wait for Isaiah Thomas to become eligible in a trade.

But the Pistons could definitely make it work. They could send you Smoove for Bledsoe straight up, and honestly, that might not be a bad fit at all for the Suns. We know Smoove likes to run the fast-break, so the pace at which Phoenix plays would a nice fit.

Obviously though, he has to work on some other things in his game to actually fit in well. And I would ask for a pick or cash or some other form of compensation since Smoove's contract is seen as a bad one and Bledsoe is definitely the better, more efficient player.

At the end of the day, I don't see Bledsoe and Monroe on the same team though. Just something fun I wanted to broach.

Suns won't budge on their offer. They hold all the leverage.

Yeah, it sucks for Bledsoe, but if he wants to stick it to them, then sign the QO and bail.

Hoping this Bledsoe thing ends soon.

No. They can't afford Monroe either.

And to op, neither guy is getting the max at this point. No one outside of Philly has the cap to offer the max (and they wont use it) and neither team is going to offer either player the max, especially now.

The Suns likely could afford both if they don't have to sign Bledsoe to the max(assuming a Sign and Trade is in place).

But then the question is what do you do with Dragic who we would no longer be able to afford? If you think that Bledsoe/Monroe could grow into something special together, then trading Dragic is not out of the question because that team would still not be able to compete for a champinship.

A team of:
Isaiah Thomas
Eric Bledsoe
TJ Warren(Tucker)
Greg Monroe
Miles Plumlee(Len, if he devolps)

has a lot of potential going into the future. If Warren can develop into a solid scorer and Len can become a good starter, that team has serious potential. Of course it all requires Bledsoe staying healthy and growing into a Perennial All-Star, but that is not out of the question for him IMO.
