| There's no way we can afford Abe. Let's trade him for another first round pick... therefore we can get a top OL and top RB in the 1st round - our 2 primary needs. |

No because there would be no 3-4 DE's in the 1st round.
In fact the best 3-4 DE's will be undersized 4-3 DT's like Manase Hopoi and Orien Harris.
Don't expect any of them in the 1st round.
And if we stay in the 4-3 we still have Bryan Thomas. _________________

Former 1st round pick who got no starting time because of John Abraham.
Thomas had more sacks than Shaun Ellis in very limited action this season. Bryan Thomas has all the potential in the world to be a great DE, but he needs to be given the chance. _________________
