Assuming Huff, Williams, Bing, and Simpson go in the first, who is your favorite 2nd-4th round safety?

I am honestly not a huge fan of watkins... I think he is a bit overated.... I think Whitner is a 1st RD talent that will fall to the 2nd... _________________

I must confess that my knowledge of Whittner is similar to most peoples' knowledge of Simpson, that is to say it is non-existant. I am interested to see his Combine results in order to better guage his value. To hear people talk about him though, he seems like he would be a good option.
OH, and I don't understand why people are down on Watkins. He has been the most consistently effective Safety this year in college, especially in the 2nd half of the season & in FSU's big games. _________________

I like Watkins and Bullocks. I like Watkins for his athleticism and range, and Bullocks for his ball hawk skills. For the big hitting safeties, I like Pollard from Purdue.

watkins. range and athleticism, as above. but also the potential to hurt people too if he can add some bulk to his 6'4" frame without losing speed. _________________

I voted for allen but I like bullocks too. If blue were available in 4th or 5th I have to admit, Id want him. _________________

the reason why I like Watkins and Bullocks is that they are huge hitters with cover skills that a safety shoudl have. think of guys like Brian Dawkins. _________________

easily. I think he would be a lot like an enforcer who can actually cover. the only reason he falls is a deep S draft. maybe getr Bullocks i nthe 4th... trade down i nthe first and get MAroney... _________________

The only problem with Watkins is my opinion is that he is very lanky. Right now he is 6'4" 200, so do you guys think he could add 15-30 lbs in a year or 2? He's got pretty good cover skills, but he will get pushed around if he doesn't add the weight.

10-15 pound he could easily add to his fram... 30 is not likely. but I think he will gain 10 in the first eyar and 5 in the 2 years following to give us a beastly sized safety if we had him at 6'4" 220 _________________
