Got to love confusion GDT titles
Anywho, since Coleman hasn't made one yet, and we're 36 hours from kick-off, he's the official... unofficial thread...?
hosting....
For this Sund... errrm... Hold on. For this Thursday, Dec. 23 showdown between a playoff clincher, and an Andrew Luck hopeful, kick-off will start off at about 8:20 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time )
Quick News and Notes
It seems tonight will be the second consecutive game Pittsburgh is without prized safety Troy Polamalu. An injury to his ACL has caused the team to decide to rest the long-haired superstar until their first playoff match next month. Although earlier reports indicated he was out for the remaining two games, Carolina wide receiver Steve Smith is active for tonight's contest.
Where were you the last time Carolina beat Pittsburgh in the 'Burgh? If your answer is anything but "I don't know" then you'd be right. Why? Because it's yet to happen. Even counting the pre-season. Carolina has yet to win a game here in Pittsburgh. Strange eh?
Just when Carolina thought things couldn't get worse, they have. Carolina's 183 points this year (average of 15 per game) could possibly set a franchise low for points in a year. Even their 1-15 season had more points scored. Fortunately, their 350 points against would need another 61 in order to get that record as well. Carolina would have to suffer 30+ point game in their last two game to reach that unfortunate record.
A longer, sweeter, more awesome write-up is coming later on today
HERE WE GO STEELERS! HERE WE GO

I thought Troy's injury was an achilles issue? _________________

If that's true, you might get the nickname of Danny Taylor! _________________
