I like it when teams give some respect to a former player like this... signing them so that they can retire as a member of the team that meant the most to them during their career.

Good to see him go out as a Jet. He was one of the top receiving FB's of all time. |

He was one of my favorite players, it was sad to see him go to Dallas. Im glad the Jets did that, just like they did to Mo Lewis And Marvin Jones last year I believe. _________________

He had a monster 2000 season for us. he caught almost 90 passes for over 850 yards. He was a great player for us and I'm happy to see this happen. _________________

As far as fullbacks go he should seriously get Hall of Fame considerations. When you look at the numbers he put up from the FB positions he is probably one of the top FB's to ever play the game and he put up great numbers at a time when the fullback was being used less and less. |
