as much as i like Abraham, he goes to Cleveland with '06 4th round (Edwards Comp. Pick) & '07 4th round for the browns '06 1st round & '06 3rd round...........also we send Law to Raven for '06 3rd round (always getting old DBs) or to Giants for '06 3rd round......
Jets '06 Picks:
1a.) OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson- Virginia (#4 pick)
1b.) RB DeAngelo Williams- Memphis (#12 pick)
2.) DE/OLB Manny Lawson- North Carolina St. (#36 pick)
3a.) OL Taitusi Lutui- USC (#68 pick)
-or- C/OL Nick Mangold - Ohio State
3b.) CB/WR/PR Will Blackmon - Boston College (#77/#91 pick)
4.) DT Rodrique Wright - Texas (#132 pick)
5.) OG Will Allen - Texas (#164 pick)
**: may switch Blackmon and Wright based on how the draft is playing out.......
Whatcha think?? |

to many steals in this draft for us very unrealistic, lawson is late 1st, lutui is a 2nd rd pik, same with mangold, and rodrigue wright is late 2nd to early third and wy wuld we draft will blackmon i wuld take a true corner lik webb then blcakmon. It'd be an amazing draft for us but this is more fantasy especially wit the trades.

that would be an absolute waste. we have bryan thomas, the defense can more then survive without abraham. |

I don't know what you are implying here. The Jets did just fine without Abraham. They beat San Diego and the D was DEFINITELY not the reason they lost to the Steelers. It's fine to defend keeping Abraham but I really disagree with that "logic" as to why you'd keep need to keep him.
Personally...the Jets have lost with him plenty of times and won without him plenty of times. I'd move him in a heartbeat for the right price, and I'm hoping the Jets do as well. |
