I'd say Zellers ceiling is Chris Kaman in his prime. _________________

I'd give him a little more scoring ability, if Zeller reaches his ceiling I'd sy he could average 16 and 10 _________________

I'd rather make a run at Lopez and take BPA at 10. _________________

I'd prefer Hibbert over Lopez, but same feelings. _________________

What happens if it plays out like this
1. Hornets- Davis
2. Bobcats- Robinson
3. Wizards- Beal
4. Cavs- Barnes
5. Kings- MKG
6. Blazers- Lillard
7. Warriors- Zeller
8. Raptors- Drummond
9. Pistons- Leonard
10. Hornets- ????
Guess we'd have to go Rivers unless I'm forgetting someone _________________

I wouldn't mind, not sure if we'll go SF since I hear Monty loves Aminu's potential. _________________

I've heard that too, but PJII would be BPA at that point. And given the option between Rivers, a guy who is strictly a two guard sitting behind Eric Gordon and PJIII competing with Aminu for a starting spot, it's hard to see the rationale in electing to go with Rivers. Outside of bias of course.
Though I could see a guy like Harkless being in play there as well. _________________

I don't think Monty liked what he saw from Perry Jones. I think well end up moving the #10 pick. _________________

Not at all what I've heard.
SOURCE
| Quote: | | The New Orleans Hornets appear increasingly serious about pairing another front-court prospect with consensus top overall draft choice Anthony Davis. |
| Quote: | | Williams came away from Monday’s workouts impressed by Perry Jones and Sullinger, and described them as “pretty skilled players.” |
| Quote: | | “Perry is a guy who you have to see in person to realize how good of an athlete he is. He can put the ball down and shoot it a little bit. He’s really quick,” Williams said. |
| Quote: | Williams said he wasn’t going to put too much stock in the perceived shortfalls of young prospects with so much development ahead of them.
“A lot of times when guys get to the NBA, and basketball is their only focus and they have nothing else but that, it could change,” Williams said. “It’s just one of those things where you have to take a chance on a guy.”
As for Jones, Williams said he believes “environment and coaching will have a lot more to do with it than just his ability and will. ... Desire is something that can be enhanced or learned, depending on who you get around.” |

He's talked up other prospects way more, he seemed very meh about Perry Jones. Describing him as "pretty skilled" doesn't scream interest to me. He's been much more excited about Lillard, Zeller and Rivers. _________________

Eh, I'm not going to try to interpret his level of excitement strictly based on his comments.
Also, we have to remember it's not just Monty making the decision, Demps will definitely have his say and we have no idea how Benson/Ownership might feel about certain prospects.
I just know Monty liked PJIII, and hope he makes the smart choice and not the blind one related to his 'past connections' in the aforementioned draft day scenario. _________________

Hornets is going to draft a scorer with the #10 pick. It make no sense to draft a big when you have guys like Lopez,Hibbert,Hawes and McGee with NBA experience and still young.. _________________

The 3 RFAs will all be matched, guaranteed and McGee is a bumbling idiot, I don't want him anywhere near this team. Monty would ship him out so fast he wouldn't get the chance to pick a number. _________________
